This is perfect for my needs. It's not too big, well constructed for personal use and easy to assemble. All parts fit together as they should and yes you can bypass the Ifit by pressing the Ifit icon for 15 seconds or so. The only suggestion I would make is when installing the belt roller, rest the walking board in the down position and use your weight to pivot the cams to stretch the belt.
Pros If you are wanting to do a leisure walk or light jog minus the inclines etc., and want something to hold onto while working out your arms then this will do. For the price minus the theatrics this will get the job done. Setting up the treadmill was pretty simple it took me about 2-3 hours by myself with breaks of course. Would recommend as the instructions state to have a second person. Con the Manual does NOT tell you How to Bypass the IFIT Activation in order for you to enjoy machine you paid for. I FOUND OUT HOW TO ACTIVATE WITHOUT PAYING FOR AN IFIT MEMBERSHIP.... just PLUG THE TREADMILL UP, TURN ON THE POWER SWITCH LOCATED ON THE BOTTOM BASE, PLACE THE RED KEY IN POSITION, HOLD DOWN the IFIT BLUE BUTTON FOR 10-15 SECONDS, WALLAH!!
First of all this will take approximately 2 hours to out together if you have another person to help you, if not it may take a bit longer. Also follow the instructions when putting it together, I read some reviews on another web page where people were complaining about this, I found it to be easy to build. Secondly, in order to use the treadmill you'll need an ifit membership, otherwise it won't even turn on. Lastly, the treadmill does not incline, if youre looking to invest on treadmills please do your research, I only recommend this for anyone who's looking to do light runs, jog, or fast speed walking, other than that if you want to run at high speeds, and looking for a treadmill that inclines you'll have to spend a few more hundreds of dollars more. I bought this treadmill for the sole purpose of doing a light cardio exercise since I train in martial arts for most of my workout routine.
This is a very good treadmill for the price. It's A Lot of work putting this together but there are YouTube videos that make it easier to assemble! Would have given it a five if not for the assembly!
Just started using the treadmill. I-Fit tries to get you to purchase a membership, but you are able to bypass it and use the treadmill without it. The only thing that I noticed was when Im running the belt feels like it pauses for a brief second. I have an extended warranty just to make sure its working properly.
I thought that when I ordered this online to have it delivered that the majority of the treadmill would be together, as in the bottom part with the walking deck and belt and that I would just have to add the handles and power board. NOT This thing was in pieces was very frustrating to put together not to mention one of the bolts won't even go all the way in because the thread is not right, this is not for the faint of heart. IVE HAD TO PUT TOGETHER IN TWO STAGES due to frustration. Let me tell you right now it's stressed me very much trying to put this together.
Treadmill did mot work- sticky white stuff on belt-not sturdy. This was. Very upsetting that this Pro form was not what I expected. I purchased a Golds gym stationary bike from walmart and had 0 issues. I purchased the bike at the store and not online like this purchase because it was only sold online
I received the treadmill and on the box it said compatible with Ifit program; I later read you had to pay $39.00 a month to join the i-fit program to even get the machine to run. I sent it back yesterday. The advertising on your website that sells the pro-form does not mention that you had to be a member of the i-fit club; it just said "compatible with I-Fit Program." I wouldn't see this item anymore until the advertisement is more honest!!!!!
I have never used iFit before and that is a nice feature on this machine. I didnt like the fact that the belt has a large White glob of paint on the belt. It also feels very cheap when walking on it.And, unfortunately, there is no incline on this machine. I should and, unfortunately, there is no incline on this machine. I shouldve just save my money and waited until I can afford the more expensive one. I shouldI shouldve waited until I can afford the more expensive one at Costco.
Buying this treadmill was easy. Delivery was quick and on time, and I thought the assembly of the product was novice to intermediate. I had almost no issues but, the instructions could have been a little clearer. Activation was not too bad, and you don't have to subscribe to the Training Program if you don't want to in order to use it. Now the bad news. The box that the product was shipped in was no different than it would be when purchasing it from the store, so it came slightly damaged. Scuffed, chipped, scratched and dinged. The box was ripped open in areas and the Styrofoam was broken in places but, the product was still operable, or so I thought. I turned it on, no problem. Activated it, no problem. Pressed start.......... PROBLEM! The motor doesn't work. Now I have to wait to hear back from ProForm to see what can be done to get my Treadmill running. If I have to disassemble it, I'm getting my money back and moving on to some other store, and I'll never buy something like this online again.
