This is the best items I ever purchased for myself. From the walking space, the large video screen, the storage space for drink/weights. the ease of folding the treadmill to put away. The absolute best part is how the treadmill reacts to the video/ trainer. I am so into the video I don't realize that I was been exercising for so long. Do pay attention to the video because the decline could catch you off guard.
Well built, quiet, and works great! We had bought a cheaper treadmill and it was unsatisfactory overall, whereas this new ProForm 5000 is very satisfactory overall!! And it was on a good sale! I would recommend paying for putting it together.
This is perfect for our home treadmill. Love the 12 include, large screen and simply buttons. Also the EasyLift™ Assist that helps you lift and lower the deck with an easy push. Highly recommended!
Best price in the market, we love it, great treadmill
I would have given this a 5-star rating. However, Upon seeing the taped and ripped, and damaged packaging, I knew something would be wrong. So after starting to remove the outside packaging, I noticed the front of the treadmill base was wrapped with plastic. After getting the treadmill completely out of the box, I noticed the base panels were loose and after removing the plastic I discovered the plastic was the only thing holding the base panels together. The plastic latches which keep the panels secure were broken during transport. The only other thing I don't like is the display, handrails, and the upright support beams are loose and shake even after everything is tightened down.
I was reluctant to buy another iFit based treadmill. My biggest gripe is included one year iFit subscription. When attempting to activate, I received a "code is no longer valid" message, but then an immediate prompt of a one month courtesy offering. I've contacted support, but no response so far. I don't understand how an unopened activation code with a brand new treadmill becomes invalid. When I owned a similar treadmill, NordicTrack Commercial 2450, it included a few, free city tracks I ran to get an automated, up and downhill simulated running experience. So far, this treadmill does not include any free, pre-mapped city tracks. In summary, if anyone's grown accustomed to the iFit city tracks, be prepared to pay a monthly subscription for access to anything. If, on the other hand, the machine is to be used for traditional, manual running, it's a good machine.
I was so looking forward to starting my weight-loss journey. My treadmill was delivered with several gaping holes. How is this even acceptable. It obviously has been damaged in transit and they still delivered product. Truly disappointed.
I don't feel the need to write reviews ever but feel compelled in this situation. Since day one we have had constant issues and have not been without some type of issue at any point in time greater than a few days. It started with a click upon each belt cycle, has altogether stopped working at one time and that leads to our current issue of a frayed belt. We have received a replacement drive roller/pulley, drive motor, storage latch, cushion, motor belt and walking belt this far. It takes on the low end 30 minutes being on hold to reach their customer support and regularly bleeds well past an hour. There are times where disconnection happens, without a call back and that is after the extensive wait time mentioned. We have had a technician out three times thus far to work on the unit and they are not able to diagnose the issue or, once gone, a new issue appears within days. We are currently waiting for the fourth visit with a non functioning machine. For this last service call we were provided with a one month wait time until they were available. With our early April purchase date I am growing worried we will easily surpass out warranty and be left with a non-functioning machine which was purchased brand new. At this stage all I want is a replacement which works, however they will only offer replacement parts coupled with long gaps to service technician arrival. I strongly encourage any prospective buyer to look toward a product and company who values your hard earned dollars and respects time you are not able to get back, rather than a non-chalant deflection until the warranty period is surpassed.
