This treadmill is very quiet and it is easy to change the speed and the incline. You can use the number buttons to type in what speed or incline you want, or just use the +/- buttons to make small adjustments. You can adjust the display to where it rotates through all the data or only the data points you want or just leave it on the time counter. The running deck is spacious and has plenty of room if you want to swing your arms as you walk/run. It was perfect for my needs, as I like to make my own workouts. But if you like preprogrammed workouts, there's a few that come with the 1 month trial of IFit, and I am sure there are a lot more on the 1 year IFit membership that also comes with it (I haven't used the membership yet). I opened the box in the garage, and then carried down the parts to the basement to set up. I needed help from two more people for the running deck. It took about 1 hour to assemble. When you are ready to get started, just download the IFit app and it walks you through the registration process and then your treadmill is "unlocked." There is not a request for a credit card. I think that the reviews that mention that are referring to when you activate the 1 year membership.
I've has this for a month and running nicely. This was a good purchase and decent price for what I've been seeing everywhere. A lot of reviews saying long wait on shipping and I was originally quoted four weeks but it came sooner (15 days). Treadmill is sturdy, folds up but I wouldn't say it saves anymore space as it doesn't go fully up, rather more of a 45 degree angle. The shock support is nice, speakers are OK but I wouldn't say is any better than my iPad itself, needs improvement on the incline and speed layout, if reserved would make more sense. Lastly, the iFit membership, smh has to be set up before you can use it, no. You can just press the reset button to get it started. This part was annoying. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase, I would recommend to others and buy again.
We purchased the treadmill just before Christmas and my wife and I use it everyday since the cold weather has set in Western New York. The assembly was straight forward but make sure you have two strong people to carry into the house and upstairs.
Sturdy, quiet, easy to use console. Wish it had a face fan. Appreciate the iFit program that came with it. Smooth incline. Easy to hook up phone to it so you can listen to music, podcasts, etc.
The delivery to my house was good - the package was of course rough looking but nothing inside was damaged. Had to take it piece by piece into the house, but assembly was easy if you followed the directions. Two people are needed for assembly. One instance the screw holes weren't totally aligned, so some of your own rigging may be needed. Have now used the treadmill for a few weeks and it works great!
For the price this is a great treadmill. Husband spent 11 years running in the military and this is perfect for getting him going again. I'm not much of a runner but it is nice for incline walking and jogging. Easy to assemble, folds nicely and isn't insanely heavy. The best bang for the buck that we could find.
It was reasonably priced and I'm looking forward to using it soon. It arrived two days after the promised delivery date, but I've not yet assembled it because it's heavy and I thought the delivery guy was going to do that. Turns out he wasn't even told to bring it inside. I do not have a garage, and was told it would have been left on a porch. I would not have been able to lift it to get it inside myself so I paid extra to have that done. Sam's delivery service should make options for assembly clear, and should deliver all heavy items to where the customer wants them actually placed. Thanks.
The treadmill is decent quality. Kind of difficult to assemble even with two people. The part that needs criticism, is the shipping. The people that shipped it were rude and late. Took almost a month from date of purchase.
Check before you decide - Hard to assemble and initial set up. Package is heavy since all pieces coming in one package. Need 3 people to move it. Since these are metal pieces and since screw holes were not aligned, vary hard to assemble. No support available on phone - for both proform and iFit. Read and understand all the details on these before buying it looking at price. Review other products and reviews
The package is delivered in 1 piece and it is very heavy to be moved by 1 person. So we unboxed it and took some of the smaller heavy parts like the diagonal legs and the top console separately down to the basement. Taking the base of the machine on which we run is heavy and a pain to move down to the basement as well but I think that's expected - I thought you cant have a stable treadmill if it's lightweight right? Ok so at that point, as per the instruction manual, 80% of the job was done: taking the beast down the basement. I was expecting to assemble it in another 1 or 2 hours - it looked easy. However, that's when it started to get horrible. there's a simple step 6:remove and discard the indicated screws (E). The problem is that it took me me 2 hours to remove those screws because they were stuck so bad that after a few attempts, they got striped and then there was no grip at all. Now, I go to youtube: "how to get a stuck screw out?" turns out there are kits available at amazon and menards to do this. Next I get a vice grip to twist these screws out and hurt my elbow. Then I get a plumber's wrench to get a grip on the screws from the outside and turn them anticlockwise. 2 hours to get that last line of the simple step 6 done. Next, step 8 and 9 also look easy but the problem is that the console does not sit right on the hand rails. It fits right on 1 side at a time but not on both. so now i go back and adjust the 2 legs and somehow try to position them so that the console sits and can be screwed on BOTH sides. Step 10: it looks so easy in the manual but the screws just wont go in. these are the same holes that the screws didnt come out of in step 6 so at this point I am 100% convinced that these handrails are defective. the console sits on the handrails, the screws had to be discarded from the handrails and these new screws also go over the handrails. Every step that I have to do anything with the metal handrails just doesnt work. I still havent been able to screw those 4 screws in.
