I have only had the bike for a week, but so far everything is good. The assembly was fairly easy, I had to go back when I got to one of the final steps I missed one of the cables that was stuck down into the body of the mainframe. The instructions could have been clearer on the cables hookups. But I did assemble it all by myself, so that is 'excellent' not too difficult at all.
I simply love this bike. It was very easy to assemble all of the pieces came in the box perfectly. It fits perfect in my living room it does not take up a lot of space and I weigh 200 pounds so, you know this bike is very sturdy. It does not wobble when I ride it. Great bike for the price . I love it I love it I love it . Thumbs up to Walmart to bike came within four days .
When I received my progear it was packaged with care. It took me about three hrs. to put together following directions. Everything works perfectly. I can't beleive how quiet it is and accurate the computer is. I forgot to mention I put this together on my own and I'm a women in my 60's..........
This is the first bike I have bought or used in years. It is everything that is advertised, I mean no surprises. It is a good starter...easy to assemble, easy to use. And it is compact and fairly light, so putting it off to the side or moving it is no big deal. For the money, I feel it was a good purchase.
Arrived earlier than expected. The seat was slightly damaged right out of the box. Called the company and in less than a week, received a replacement seat. Only had this item for about 2 weeks and so far it's working as expected. Directions are easy enough. It's quiet and compact and can give you a good workout. We keep it on the first setting… it's not very smooth on the higher settings. The computer is confusing but it works and my daughter loves it. So far, it's a good deal for the price….now we just have to use it!
I use to have the "Marcy ME-708 Upright Exercise Bike." It was perfectly good but I moved and couldn't take the bike with me. This Progear 250 is a much better bike. The digital display works better, there's a cup holder, and the adjustable tension thing has seems to have a greater range of resistance. Anyhow, this is a real quality bike. I would recommend it to anyone.
I love the bike, I highly recommend it to anyone, I already have told others....I like the convenience of having it shipped to the house. It took my husband and me a little over an hour to put together. I love it being light enough to move the bike around, yet it's strong and steady while I'm riding it. It's very quiet, so I can watch television while riding. The seat is low enough for me, I'm 4'10 and raises high enough for my 6'2' husband. I've had the bike about a month now and very pleased with it!!!
I received this bike earlier than expected and took my time to assemble it carefully (I'm a bit challenged with assembling things), and everything seems to be working fine. It takes a little getting used to the different handlebars and display monitor than my old bike had, but it works and gives me the readings I need to continue a virtual bike trip with a friend in another state. Good for the price and the free delivery rocks since it would have been very difficult for me to get it home myself.
I got this exercise bike after my neighbors downstairs complained that my treadmill was too loud. I was used to getting a great cardio workout on my treadmill so I was disappointed that I would have to change that & was hoping this would be just as good of a work out. My secret to getting a good sweat is to hold a 5 lb weight in each hand while on the bike. I did the same when I used the treadmill & I always worked up a good sweat. The bike is super quiet (no complaints from neighbors) & I have it on the lowest resistance & I still feel the burn. I tried it with out the weights & I did not sweat as much so I'll be sure to use the weights. I like that this bike is small & doesn't take up a lot of space. Great size for a person my size (I'm 4'10" & 115 lbs). The only complaint I have is that the seat is very uncomfortable. I bought a gel seat cushion & I'm hoping that will help.
Couldn't wait to get this bike.... then procrastinated putting it together.... then procrastinated on starting to use it! But it was easy to put together (my boyfriend helped)... maybe took us 45 minutes working together. It's SO QUIET when I ride it... that was a main issue for me, since I ride it while watching TV. I also have cats & wanted a bike that was safe to use around them. I love the computer showing distance, speed, calories burned & the pulse sensors. I have no complaints about the bike.
