I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I have been looking for some sort of exercise machine for forever so this feels like a godsend. With working remote for over two years now and having two young children my exercising has been seriously lacking. My mom too, suffered a stroke a few years ago and is still on her rehab journey. Any sort of activity and movement is great and I wanted to invest in something like this for her too. Assembly was super simple. It did take a couple hours but that was with many breaks. Hardware was broken down and packaged by step. All hardware that could have been placed was already on the machine and just had to be removed and replaced. I loved that. I even loved the small sword screwdriver/hex wrench that was included. I’m keeping that handy gadget in the toolbox! Easy to follow steps, clear instructions made assembly a breeze though it was helpful to have an extra set of hands to hold things upright at times. Features are wonderful too. It’s weird how outside a gym, this singular machine looks so big! I’m 5’2” and thought this might be too big, but I’m able to climb on and the stride isn’t uncomfortable. Amenities are pretty basic. There a cup holder and a lip for reading material. The display is pretty standard too. Time, speed, distance and calories burned as well as RPM, odometer and cal-watt readings are shown (too advanced for me but maybe someday). There are also 16 intensity levels and many preset programs. I know there’s an app compatible with this elliptical but I’m not so interested that at this time. From what I can gather, the manufacturer of this bike seems to be a quality company that cares about its customers. From making assembly simple and straightforward to their desire to help as much as possible in my fitness journey, I’m really looking forward to exercising!
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. As soon as it showed up I got to putting it together. Directions were very easy to follow, took me 2-3 hours but I had no issues! Me being out of shape had to go down to level 1 right away and even that isn't "easy." This can get to levels that are very hard to pedal. Added bonus feature I like are the cup/bottle holder and a spot for your cellphone.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Let me start out by saying that this does take abit of time putting it together but the instructions are easy to follow and once completed it looks really nice . We like the 24 settings it has from lower to the hardest , from a leisure setting to a climbing mountain setting . It charges so no long pesky cord to get in the way . . Highly recommend and I hope this lasts us for years to come .
I was looking for an elliptical with big stride length at a resonable price. I compared many products at Amazon and Walmart, and then found the only one here - an 18" stride at a little above $200. I was afraid of its quality as all other similar ones are well above $300. I nevertheless bought this to have a try. After I received and assembled it, I felt this product is amazingly great - quiet, smooth, big display, and helpful App... I really got what I was looking for and saved a lot of money!
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This Progear Elliptical machine is just what I was looking for in an exercise machine. It is easy to use and to store. I love that I can customize my workouts. It is easy to adjust to make my workouts a little more challenging on some days and easier on other days. I look forward to the high quality of this elliptical machine for years to come. I recommend this product.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I am putting together a home gym in my basement and this 18” stride elliptical was the perfection addition. It took two of us (one significantly stronger than the other) to carry the box downstairs. It took me probably 3 hours to put it together by myself. There were a few steps I didn't do correctly because the instructions were a bit vague so I did it backwards. I did like that they labeled the hardware with numbers that corresponded with the steps in the instructions booklet. It doesn’t take up a lot of room like other equipment at the gym does. It's long but slim. It’s easy to move around when it’s tipped with the rolling feet on one side. This is a great elliptical for the price. The display is bright and has different modes to choose from. It also has a padded slot spot of a tablet or book. There is also a water bottle spot. The feet pedals have two different spots that they can be installed in depending on which feels better to you. They glide well and the handles are comfortable with padding. This elliptical will have a lot of impact on my knees.
Bought this and shipped to our daughter. She was very excited and so far it has been a great machine. The longer stride is a necessity for taller people..
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I purchased the ProGear MT5000 Bluetooth Smart Cloud Fitness Magnetic Elliptical, 18” Stride. So far, I am very pleased with this product. I have never been a fan of the elliptical machine, but this is one that I honestly like and feel comfortable using. The 18’’ stride on this product is less intimidating than other ellipticals that I see in the gym, but the quality is similar. It took me about two hours to install with help, but that also included interruptions from two young children. The instructions seem a bit intimidating, but if you take it step-by-step it’s very manageable. All of the parts are appropriately labeled and the instructions are easy to understand if you read everything carefully. Once set up, it is easy to move the elliptical around by tilting it forward. Its compact design makes it easy to fit into the corner of any room. You need one outlet to plug it into. It does have a cupholder, but it doesn’t secure very well to the frame of the elliptical. I haven’t tried to put my water bottle in it, but I don’t have any doubts about it staying in place. I just wish it was a bit more secure to the frame. The display piece of the elliptical has a built-in shelf for holding a book, a tablet, or your phone and the controls on the display are easy to use, which makes for a quick start to your work out. The foot pedals can be attached in two different ways, depending on your needs. I like that the elliptical has both stable arms and moving arms, depending on the type of workout that you like to do. Everything on the machine seems to be very good quality. If you’re looking to get started with an elliptical machine, I recommend starting here. The price point is very fair for the equipment that you receive.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The box is extremely heavy. The pieces are very systematically put in the box so there’s not a lot of extra room and it seemed like the parts were very well protected with foam wrap, styrofoam, and plastic. All the large items were labeled. The small pieces and fasteners were in a cardboard package and labeled with dotted lines separating them out by steps. The instructions were fairly easy to use. I did have some problems with installing things properly. While installing the handrails on the front post, the right side kept getting caught so it wouldn’t go in all the way. When I would reverse the direction it worked. I tried several times and my husband tried several times before finally getting the handrail to slide completely next to the bushing on the front post. In addition, there was too much grease pushed out while installing the left foot bar to the crank. It made it difficult to see where to place the D washer. Finally, I had trouble connecting the console wires. They didn’t push in completely and there was no mark saying how far they should be pushed in or where the wires should meet. It took 3 hours for me to put together because I did all of it on my own with the exception of the parts I had trouble with. The machine has wheels on the front so you can roll it to the correct spot in your house. It’s very compact and not wide at all. This allows for a lot of flexibility when deciding where to keep the elliptical. You just have to make sure the back of it is near an outlet so it can be plugged in. Once it was all set up, it looked like a nice well made elliptical and it was a good value for $395. The foot bars can be moved to two positions and you can either use the stationary handles or the moveable handles. There are a ton of features on this machine which are really overwhelming at first, especially if you aren’t used to this type of exercise equipment. My husband has used other ellipticals that have program description graphics which would have been very useful for me. I’m a beginner so I just needed to know the basic stuff for now and thankfully my husband was able to explain most things to me. I was confused at first on how to turn off the elliptical, but after reading the instructions, it states that the console will shut off after 20 minutes of inactivity. I still wish there was an off button for convenience. It was also a little wobbly at first, but you can adjust the rear stabilizer end caps to level it. The only feature I would have liked to see was a heart rate monitor. I like how it has a water bottle holder and a raised bar so you can place an electronic device or book below the console. It also has comfortable handles and glides smoothly for a comfortable “ride”. Finally, there is a free app available called MyCloudFitness. Even though I’m just beginning, I’m looking forward to building my stamina and getting more use out of this elliptical over time.
the stride is 18" which is great but it is very vertical, not as natural ergonomically as others I've used in gyms. I think something internal has broken that I won't be able to get to. It happened on 2nd use with a very light person on it. It will be returned unfortunately.
