Great surge protector with EMS
Great product, straight forward installation, clear instructions. Everything needed in the box. I wanted a hardwired version to prevent theft of the portable units at the power pole. Bonus to the hardwired units, on top of the lifetime warranty, the surge module is serviceable in the unit unlike the portable ones.

Awesome must have protection.....cheap insurance!
Great surge protector does it job in protecting the RV. Great digital readout for volts, amps and frequency!

Safety for electronic systems
I was concerned about surge protection for the very sensitive electronics in new RV. Read the info on several similar devices. Wanted a a hard wired device rather than a portable plug in unit hanging outside on campground power pedestal. The specs on the EMS HW 30C seemed to be top-line. In addition to plain surge protection, it is truly a electric management system covering open circuits, reversed wires, missing grounding protection etc. Installation was strait forward following manual step by step. The remote display is a BIG plus - constant display of volts, AMPS, and hertz.
