Purchased for dk brown sugar previously purchased one for lgt brown and found it perfect

Have had it for about a month and my brown sugar is still soft.

Second time ordering. I dropped the other one and the lid hinge broke but it still worked. I hade the first one for almost 8 years.

This Brown Sugar Container is fantastic! It easily holds a two-pound bag of brown sugar, the terracotta disk holds enough moisture to last many openings, and if you've ever been the victim of a rock-solid bag of brown sugar that needs a hammer and chisel then this is for you. It can easily be opened with one hand and that's a big time saver in a busy kitchen. This container does not come with instructions on how to use the terracotta disk but I just dropped it in some water and waited for the bubbles to stop (about 30 min). Then use a paper towel to dry the surface of the disk and attach it to the lid. That's it!

I love this item - I use it to store my brown sugar and it NEVER hardens. Also, it makes it so easy to use when I need to measure out any amount from spoonfuls to cupfuls.

I like that the terra cotta stone is included. Does a good job of keeping the brown sugar soft. I just need to remember to soak the stone in water every couple of months.
