Progresso Green Split Pea Soup, Vegetable Classics Canned Soup, Gluten Free, 19 oz

This is a soup like many of Progresso's soups that can be added to anything to make that anything taste even better, including other soups. Think I'll go whip up a quart of soup right now. Thanks Progress! You be da bomb! The picture is of a pan of 3 different kinds of Progresso soup: Green Split Pea, Italian-Style Wedding, and Chicken and Dumpling. Will easily feed a family of five and offer leftovers.

love this soup, I add curry powder. Wish they made pea soup without bacon in it. Also being able to have simple foods shipped during pandemic is really helpful to those of us who can not drive.

I love split pea soup, so what can I say? When soup was being depleted from the store shelves, Walmart seemed to have plenty of this on hand, which allowed me to buy four when the other kinds were depleted. I guess its all about taste; I don't eat peas frequently, but I love pea soup.

This canned version of split pea soup I found to be quite good indeed. It is conveniently ready to heat and eat, and if you just can't wait, it can be eaten cold out of the can and will taste good that way. I enjoyed it and recoommend it to others.

Progresso's Green Split Pea with bacon "flavor" is the second best soup of this kind, the first being Andersen's Split Pea, which is hard to come by outside of Amazon. Progresso also makes a split pea with ham and other veggies that is more watery since it has fewer split peas. Either are good but I like this Vegetable Classic Green Split Pea better for its thick body and bacon flavor.

I would rather make my own split pea soup than eat this as the peas are not cooked all the way through. I just don't like this soup but like the brand for other soups.

when I read the reviews much of it was concerning the peas but i figured they weren't as hard as they thought BUT its true! Also the taste was blah, no flavor. I had gotten a off name brand from another company and it was great! I started buying from Walmart so i couldn't get it again so i bought this kind but never again.

I miss Campbell's Green Pea soup which is no longer available and was hoping this would be similar. The nice thick texture looked promising but the flavor was so strange. Wasn't tasty at all and what flavor there was just tasted very weird. I'll stick with Progresso Traditional Split Pea Soup. it's MUCH better than this stuff.

peas are hard not cooked enough! Peas are not supposed to be crunchy! Where is the quality control person in the factory did he get fired and they never hired a New one!

I love this soup, but the packaging for shipment was unbelievable. 4 loose cans thrown in with 2 _12 packs of green beans and two boxes of nuts. Only the green beans made it through the mail unharmed. The soup cans look like they were stomped on to be made to fit into the box.
