[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandmother used to only buy Progresso breadcrumbs and I now know why. You cannot buy breadcrumbs of their quality from any other manufacturer because they have the best. It cooks better and tastes better.

First bread the chicken with flour, egg and milk, then Progresso italian flavored bread crumbs. Brown in a skillet with shortening. Place in a baking dish, cover with foil and bake for an hour at 350°.

I come from an Italian family and in several of my Italian dishes, I use Progresso Italian Style Breadcrumbs. This is a quality product and one that I will always select over all the others. It is consistent and flavorful and works perfectly with all of my Italian cooking.

When I was little, I would help my Grandma by rolling food items, such as mushrooms or sticks of egg-coated Parmesan in these breadcrumbs. It's what we use for our home-made meatballs, and now that I'm an adult, I use it in my home-made Moussaka -which of course is Greek. I also use it for my American style baked chicken breasts. Other brands do not even come close in comparison-in taste or quality.
