There was nothing to dislike about this soup. I love good soups, even when they tingle my tongue a little bit. The balance of spices and seasonings is very good. The bbq flare was a great touch of something new in a store bought product, but then, I expect nothing but the best from Progresso soups.
i have tried and reordered all of the new pitmaster soups and they are all fantastic- i even sent a batch of them to my grandson in montana as comfort food after he became laid up after an accident- the ingredients taste fresh and the corn tastes crisp- a can of this along with some fresh crackers make a wonderful filling meal-
I didn't expect canned soup to have *this* much flavor, but this Progresso Pitmaster BBQ Style Grilled Chicken and Fire Roasted Corn blew me away. The BBQ taste is rich and smoky, and the fire-roasted corn adds a nice charred sweetness that makes it feel like you're having a gourmet meal, not just a quick lunch. The grilled chicken is tender and doesn't feel like the typical canned meat—it's surprisingly juicy and holds up well in the broth. The whole thing comes together for a warm, filling meal that's perfect on a chilly day. It's hearty without being too heavy, and the portion size is just right for a solo meal. For something from a can, it's got real depth of flavor, and I love that it's not just another bland, salty soup. Definitely adding this to my regular shopping list.
It was ok. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't heavy on the Bbq sauce. Not complaining, just surprised that it wasn't heavy on the sauce that I was expecting.
I did not receive all my items four or five of them. I'm not getting because they were not instock so how long will it take for me to receive my money back into my account?
I was so excited and couldn't wait to try this soup, but was terribly disappointed. It's my fault, because I expected it to have barbecue sauce in it. But what they mean is barbecue, like out on the grill. I like corn, but I don't like fire roasted corn. Again, that was my fault, because it clearly says fire roasted on the label. I just thought the barbecue sauce would cover up the taste of the fire roasted corn, but there was no barbecue sauce. The charcoal flavor, like when you grill outside, was overpowering and I didn't like this soup at all. But if you like that flavor, then you will definitely like this.
Recently, I tried a can of Progresso Pitmaster BBQ Style, Grilled Chicken and Fire Roasted Corn, Canned Soup. As this product was new to me, I was curious about its flavor and overall quality. Unfortunately, the taste did not meet my expectations. I found it disappointing, which was unexpected given the product's appealing description. Additionally, I felt that the cost of each can was not justified by the eating experience it provided. Based on my experience, I have decided to stick with my tried and true favorites instead of purchasing this soup again.
This soup is awful, and not worth the price. It was mostly broth, the chicken had an awful texture, and they couldn't even put enough beans in it to fill a bird's appetite. I do not recommend it, and would not ever buy it again.
Forget this can of crap 🤦♀️ The red beans are NOT cooked. They are hard. By the time, I removed them, there was nothing much left. i wouldve thrown it out if i hadnt already put garlic Ritz crackers in it. The chicken was dry and hard. The corn was okay. i didnt taste BBQ, either. I'll stick with Campbell's ❤️
Not a huge fan of Progressive canned products. This tasted like Baked beans watered down with barbecue flavored tomato sauce. Very disappointing...
