Progresso Traditional, Ready to Serve Beef Barley Soup, 19 oz.

Progresso consistently makes the best canned soup available on the market today. I highly recommend this soup but beware Walmart fulfillment...100% of the time I ordered I received a few seriously damaged or dented cans which means you'll have to go through hassle of return. Fulfillment seriously lacks basic common sense for how to pack heavy food items of any kind.

I love this soup with an egg salad sandwich!! It doesn't have that 'can taste' and I think it's better than my homemade! Walmart's price is the best I've found

Like anything else, homemade soup is always the best. But in the case of Progresso Traditional, Ready to Serve Beef Barley Soup, it is a neck and neck close race. Most Beef Barley canned soups are a LOT of juice and not so much beef or barley. This is a very hearty soup.

Progresso is my favorite brand of soup ! They have so many to choose fround . The ingredients are good and the calories aren't high for a meal . The can says it has two servings but you could have a whole can and be under 400 calories . Pair it with a grilled cheese and you have a satisfying meal . Better quality and price then other name brands . Beef %26 Barley is just one of their large variety of soups .

I have been buying this for decades. Love flavor, texture, smell, taste, thick enough but not a stew, perfect seasoning. But I would also love this as a thicker receipe. So good, healthy ingredients and filling. Great recipe. I have this anytime, lunch, dinner, snack, year around.

My all time favorite from Progresso. Lots of veggies, barley and beef. This is definitely a warm hug in a bowl.

I have been very lazy in recent years....deliberately buying from Walmart because of their delivery service even though I know prices for the same items are cheaper at Aldi's, SamsClub or the MacDill commissary. This soup is good which is why I buy it but I look at the higher price compared to other stores and I think I am being taken for a fool which I am. I am going to curtail my buying/delivery from Walmart and start physically going to stores I know WHEN I COMPARE ONLINE THE COST OF SAME ITEMS...the items are cheaper elsewhere. You should too.

I've always loved beef barley soup; a carryover from childhood - my grandma made the best soups! But for a canned soup, this is one of the best beef barleys I have ever found. Great taste, no complaints - and even my husband likes it, though he's not a fan of canned soups. I'd love for this soup to be a little thicker, with a bit more beef. Also, as with most canned - it's quite salty (read the label if you're on a low-sodium regimen). Overall - it's yummy!

This soup is a great backup in your pantry, however, it lacks of beef and beef flavor. I do wish it had more carrots. I've been kicking it up myself! Will buy again even though overpriced.

The items had been handled bad and all the cans were broken open. Walmart said they would refund but never did.
