I originally bought this bag of dried mealworms for my ducklings but decided to put some in a large bowl for the birds and squirrels mixed in their food. 😯 All I can say is WOW, I think I had every kind of bird in my backyard! Even the squirrels snuck in between the birds and grabbed a few. Lots of protein for all🙂
I use these dried mealworms to feed to the wild birds that visit my yard. The Eastern Bluebirds really love them and I get a pair to nest every year now! This is the best value on Walmart.com!
This is the best value for your buck! My birds love these worms. i purchased them originally for my Eastern Bluebirds, but it seems every other bird thinks the mealy worms are delectabe. Very quality product.
I always fling a small amount of rolled oats over the hens' fence so I can get in without 10 chickens swarming me on my way to check the back side of their coop for eggs. Today I gave them these yummy meal worms instead and they acted like they'd died and gone to Hen Heaven. And now Heaven help me if I try to go in their fence without them!
My girls love them. This is a great way to add protein and extra nutrients during the winter months, when they cannot get out and free roam as much. It's also just a great treat to give them something to hunt through the hay and get some exercise And burn off energy
Proilgrubs 2lb dried mealworms - good price, sturdy package, the mealworms looked to be good quality and whole pieces not broken. Assuming the birds are happy with them as well, some yellow warblers almost immediately came to my feeder. i would prefer to purchase a larger bag if available.
I was buying another from Walmart. My chickens loved it and its about the same price. These worms seem a little bigger. These have 50% more protein and they list calcium in the nutritional values. My chickens love these too. I think I'll be buying these from now on. The 50% more protein and the listed calcium is winning my vote. My chickens are layers and the protein and calcium will help in egg production.
Did a preference test with some generic grubs that I had. priolgrubs won without a doubt. My girls are like pets to me and I am what they eat. Priolgrubs also looked cleaner and had a more uniformed shape than the generic brand. My girls definitely enjoyed them and that is all that matters.
I can't keep this in the bird feeders. I have 5. They fight and hoard the eating platform. I crush them up so they go faster since the starlings flick all the seeds out to get to the worms. Along with the mockingbirds and robins. So be careful and watchful they love these worms I can't keep them in stock I go through 2 in a week and a half if not faster for the ice storm we just had and snow
These are awesome! My hens went crazy over them! Quality is amazing! Egg production went up when I started giving these to my hens! All my girls recommend!🐓🐓
