I received this product to try and chose to have my daughter help me with the projects. The projects are so simple to mix together and they use every day household items. If you have a little girl in your family they will absolutely love this kit. There is six different experiments that will keep little girls busy for hours. We had a small sleepover and all the girls were able to create and experiment with each project. They all really loved the facemask and body gels. I have 3 daughters (6, 9 and 10) who LOVE pampering themselves. We had so much fun with these spa science kits. Creating great smelling and perfectly pampering products for pretty little divas was a blast! We will be making these over and over, I love that they give ingredients on what to use if you run out of what comes in the kit. Essentially years of fun and teaching them how to measure and do math and science and not even realize they are learning! I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. My daughter couldn't wait to have friends over to use the MC2 Slumber Party Science Kit. So last night she invited her friends over. They had alot of fun playing together with the science kit. Her friends even asked where we had bought the kit so they can tell their parents to get them one. What a cute easy to use kit for kids. Most of the projects required nothing more then water. A few required some not on hand items like liquid glycerin and highlighter. About half of what is needed for the projects is not even supplied. What is supplied so minimal, you can only use it once or twice. They may as well just sell the book and not bother with the rest. I bought a generic $7 set that had way more supplies in it. I would have expected a lot more for the money they charge for this one.

I was not really aware I would have to purchase most of the ingredients for this, so that right there is a negative for me. Other than that I do not see where this is science related. It is more crafty than anything. My daughter struggled with this one because the things she wanted to do required ingredients that were not included.
