I have a pair that I bought 5 and 1/2 years ago that are still going strong. This new pair are basically the same and seem to be constructed with the same durable quality. The main difference that I see is the material that the boot (knee cap material) is made out of. These new ones are made out of 3/16" thick rubber, whereas my old pair were made out of a thicker, flexible vinyl material. Other than that they are the same, great, made in the USA product. The only brand of kneepads I will ever buy.

So far these have been good for me. I have knee issues and these are the most comfortable knee pads I've ever used. Some people say that the original ProKnee's that extend to the ankle are better. I've used both models but so far for me, I haven't noticed a difference other than these are more compact and are priced lower than the original 0714 model. Personally, both ProKnee models are the best knee pads that I've ever used, period. Once you have used these, you'll never want to purchase any other brand then ProKnee. These are worth the price and you will notice that as soon as you start using them.

pads are super comfortable - far better than my old ones! they also got very wet at my last job, but were easy to disassemble to dry.

comfortable, well built. i would recommend. my husband did wind up returning for something a little less bulky. but the protection and quality is 100% there.

If your a professional that's on your knees everyday, these are pretty much a must have. I wish they used materials that were easier to keep clean for the tile setter.

Save your knees. I'm a 400 pounder and I can work on the ground with these on without being in continuous pain. Expensive but worth it.
