I prefer toothpaste that helps protect enamel. I can't say whether the toothpaste actually “repairs” but I do think the texture seems to be thicker consistency than some toothpastes and after brushing it leaves my teeth feeling less sensitive, polished, and feels as if it leaves an invisible protective barrier for a while. This toothpaste is extra fresh as labeled.

Pronamel Extra Fresh Intensive Repair is another quality toothpaste by Sensodyne, a brand I trust. The toothpaste claims to protect, strengthen and harden enamel. It also claims to protect against the effects of acid erosion. I have been using this toothpaste for several weeks and I won't know if these claims are true for me personally until my next dental checkup. However, I can report that since I've been using this toothpaste: my teeth appear to be brighter, my teeth feel clean and my breath is fresh and I seem to have less painful sensitivity from both cold and hot drinks. The toothpaste contains fluoride for cavity protection, has a good taste and is smooth, not gritty.

Let me start this review with a little background information. I have very very very sensitive teeth, so bad that my dentist dreads me coming in for a checkup. (yes, I'm serious) I can't stand for anything cool or hot to hit my teeth so as you can imagine me and my dentist wrestle over that water sprayer they try to put in my mouth. I can't even open my mouth outside if its really cold because it will make my teeth hurt. My front teeth are the worst. I have been using this toothpaste for a few weeks now and to my very own surprise I was able to bite into an ice cream cone last night. I don't ever remember a time in my life that I could do this, not even as a child when I first got my adult teeth. You can't imagine how something so simple can bring so much joy. This sounds like something probably stupid to most people but when your teeth are that sensitive eating is more of a chore than a pleasure, having to cool food off or not being able to eat it because its too cold, always the last one to finish eating, these are my teeth and they shouldn't be this big of a hassle - and they aren't now. I will be using this Sensodyne ProNamel Intensive Enamel Repair for the rest of my life! And biting into my ice cream cone like a normal person!!!

Love Pronamel toothpaste, but hate its container. As a senior citizen, I'm finding it more and more difficult to get the tube cover open, and then it's difficult to get the cover back on again. As the plastic tube does not hold a crease, remaining toothpaste tends to spread out again in the tube. A metal tube with flip-up cover might be better. A small round shallow jar might be even better. I'd then be able to just dip my brush into the paste.

I grinder my teeth as a child which left one my of molars with bad enamel wear. My tooth gets extremely sensitive. Especially when using whitening trays. I tried this sensodyne toothpaste before and after using my trays and it helped tremendously. Not only that, my tooth is no longer as sensitive to ice water or anything cold. I feel like it really does help if you use it daily. Aside from the sensitivity, the tube is a decent size and the flavor is good and not extremely strong. I feel like it does a great job cleaning my teeth. Would definitely recommend to people with sensitive teeth.

I have Extremely sensitive teeth so I need a tooth paste that will help not hurt my teeth. I received the Sensodyne Pronamel tooth paste from Viewpoints and was very thankful. This Sensodyne Pronamel tooth paste comes in a great container that will stand straight up on your counter top. I will have to check if they make a larger size because the 3.4 oz doesn't last long in my home. My entire family uses it. It helps to stop heat or cold tooth sensitivity while whitening them. It has a nice minty flavor to help with bad breath. I enjoy the intense enamel repair tooth pastes helping effect on my teeth. I will continue to use this and keep my home well stocked. It helps us all have much healthier brighter looking teeth.

I have used Pronamel before so I was excited to try the new product for enamel repair. I could tell after just a couple days that my teeth were less sensitive. I drink quite a bit of coffee and could always tell that my teeth ached when I drank it. They were also super sensitive when I drink something cold. I've had a huge improvement from just the short amount I have been using this toothpaste. I also have tried different sensitive teeth toothpastes before and wasn't a fan of the taste. It always was a little salty and not as fresh. Not this Pronamel. It's super minty and fresh and doesn't leave a bad salty after taste. Before I shied away from using enamel repair or sensitivity paste every day because it didn't give me the freshness I wanted but this toothpaste is perfect. I will be able to just buy one toothpaste and use it every day. I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't as impressed with this toothpaste as I thought I would be. The minty flavor tastes off and it doesn't leave my mouth with that fresh and clean feeling. I also haven't noticed any difference in the sensitivity of my teeth

This product did not make my teeth or mouth feel as clean as other toothpastes usually do. Also, the worst part, is that within three days of me using this toothpaste, all of my teeth started aching, and my gums became red and sore. I stopped using this product and went back to my older toothpaste, and within a day, my teeth stopped aching. My gums still aren't fully healed yet. I really wanted to like this product, but it just doesn't work for me.
