Seriously, I can't say enough great stuff about this Pro Maximum X07 Drone. It is Awesome! My grandkids saw the package and their eyes lit up with excitement! Right out of the box, it was fully charged! No waiting to fly it! I love that it is charged with a USB. Wonderful feature since you can easily charge it even in your car. No running out of juice when your not near an outlet. The whole family had fun flying the drone. It is so easy to maneuver the drone. The remote works effortlessly. I was so proud of my grandson. First time out, he handled it beautifully. Maneuvering in and out of spaces, and landing it safely. The drone is so lightweight. Wonderful to bring inside the home without breaking anything while flying. Everyone in our family is having so much fun flying this drone. So many hours of quality time! It is so wonderful when the family gets together and flies this drone. So much laughter and fun! We took it to the park. We all had so much fun flying the drone over the duck ponds in and out of the trees. It's so easy to control. There were lots of people watching it fly and were impressed with it! This Propel Maximum X07 is an awesome drone. It will give you hours of fun! We have been flying it almost everyday now, and it still works great!
This is a great drone! We have used it with my daughter who absolutely loves it and thinks it easy extremely easy for her to use. I like that it's small enough to not take up a lot of room.
Another Maximum drone to my collection, I am very happy with the way it bounces around the room. Got the hang of controlling it on the 3rd charge. Grandchildren will really get a kick out of this.
If you're into drones then this could be a cool starter drone for you to learn on. I thought that would be the case for me. But I haven't been able to get anywhere with it. It has a lot of cool features, that sometimes work, but it's too difficult to control. The biggest problem for me is I can't get the thing to hover in place. It just keeps bouncing around all over the place until it either crashes into the ground or bumps into something and quits. It is remarkable how the tiny motors on this drone are capable of creating the amount of air pressure required to lift this thing. If you hold your hand under the drone, you can feel those little motors creating some serious lift. I'd like to have fans that powerful cooling my PC. I tried recalibrating the drones sensors on a flat surface, as indicated in the instructions, but it didn't help. The biggest problem I think with this drone, is the extremely limited controls. You basically have this round button, that tries to be an analog stick, but fails to work correctly. So instead of have 360 degrees of control you have 4 directions. And then, you have to try to figure out which direction the drone is facing to determine which control will send the drone the direction you want it to go. The automatic object avoidance is a pretty cool feature that does work if the drone isn't moving too quickly. But if that thing is even the slightest bit off center, it will fly out of control and crash. It didn't take too many collisions for the structure of the drone to start getting all bent out of shape, making it even more uncontrollable. The battery lasts a whole 8 minutes before it dies and has to be recharged, pretty lame. Play with it for less than 10 minutes and then put it away. I don't have much more to say about it. In theory, it could be a cool toy. It's definitely not too pricey for what it's capable of. But I just don't have the patience to try to figure it out with only 8 minutes at a time to get experience with it to learn how to properly control it.
This is a very small and lightweight drone. It comes with the drone which did arrive charged and ready to fly, a remote for controlling it, and a USB charger. The fact that it comes with a USB charger makes it both convenient and not so much. Some people still use regular wall outlets and dont really have access to a USB port. On the flip side. Most people do have access to a USB outlet of some sort, even in their vehicles so the ease of charging is really convenient. It lights up and looks good. It's very light which makes it easy to fly. It does have to be programmed to hover which I find to be an inconvenience. The box did include a manual for reference. I saw people saying how easy it was to fly indoors and we did not have that experience with ours. As soon as he started controlling it, it flew right up to the ceiling and sort of just hovered there. It does tell you that you can recalibrate it on a flat surface and then it will be good to go, but it just wasn't that easy for us. I would imagine this is geared toward novice users and that's fine. With some practice I'm sure it wouldnt take too long to get the hang of it.
The Propel Maximum X07 is a fairly simple to use droid. It was more difficult getting it out of the box, than it was to operate. The Propel Maximum X07 is lightweight and can be operated by remote or hand motions. The directions are to charge for almost an hour. The placement of the charger to the droid isn't the easiest place to reach. It almost feels like it will break if you push too hard. To charge the droid, you MUST use a computer, no other charging device is recommended. After allowing the droid to charge...we synced it as directed, and took it outside. It was easy to control, but doesn't have a very far range. But...just when you think you got the droid figured out and are maneuvering it fairly well...it loses its charge. The charge only last 5-7min, which equals a short play time for an hour of charging.
5min outside with the kids this drome goes up up up we kept hitting the shut off and it didnt work and it went so high we disnt see it anymore and then is was gone. We never found it . My kid cried for days
Our son got this from Santa it started off amazing!!! Within 15 min he pushed trick button it shot up into the sky despite him pressing the button that should bring it back... it shot up into the sky and never returned!!! Terribly sad for our son! Not to mention dangerous!
In the past 2 months I've bought 3 of these drones (replacements for each other) and without fail each one's drifted off despite the remote control inputs. The last one, on the first flight, just lifted off into a maximum climb and disappeared despite pressing the emergency land button.
This really sucked, charged it for my grandson took it outside it went up and took off to the right into forest.. So he never got to enjoy it..
