its absolutely amazing, perfect for one hand cutting and it handled 4" branches easily, when i got it there was an issue with the charger prorun imediately sent me one after talking to rep,it seems like a good company that stands behind its products, the oiler works great and the battery was almost full after i was done clearing branches if you need a saw of this size here ya go,best purchase i ever got her(me lol)
AWESOME mini chain saw. Cut for 3 hours and still had half battery life. Fast shipping a big plus. Great investment 👍
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to remove shrub roots which my previous chainsaw could not handle. It did the job without issue. I have used it on tree branches, and other roots and it was flawless. It is easy to handle and easy to clean, and speedily cuts through every root and branch that it has encountered.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after having purchased another Mini Saw ( one of those that seems to have many clones in a nice kit). I returned that one without even using it. This Prorun tool had had several things that I thought made a superior product; a Brushless Motor, a Chain oiling system and a longer bar. So I used it yesterday for the first time to section a 30 ft. tree that fell in my back yard. I cut off all the limbs and sectioned them into roughly 1.5' prices, and then cut the trunk which was around 4" thick at the top and around 9" thick at the base. It made very quick work of the limbs with no effort. On the trunk, even the thickest sections at the bottom were no problem for this saw, just took a bit longer than the small cuts. After all that, the saw was barely warm and there were still 2 of the 4 bars on the battery left. Very impressive! For someone like me, and probably many home owners, using it for limb trimming and occasionally for thick section trees/branches, this is the perfect tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for this a long time! I am a wiman who likes to do things herself. A full size chainsaw is to big and heavy for me. This mini chainsaw is perfect for the jobs I need to do. I am extremely happy with my purchase and have showed all my girlfriends, I believe they will all buy one too!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 83 years young. Bought this mini magic machine 4 months ago and it is wonderful. Trimmed all the small branches on downed trees in the pasture. Trimmed invasive shrubs, pesky branches battery lasts a long time. It's wonderful not having to start the monster gas powered saw every time I have to cut brush. Thank you for a wonderful product. I now need a weed Wacker.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The leightweight battery operated chainsaw provided an excellent job when my willow tree split left split during a recent storm with high winds. I was able to cut up the debris for my burn pile and now have logs for this winter fireplace
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son bought this for me as a birthday gift. He knows I am somewhat afraid to use a larger chainsaw, but that we have just enough yard to need something better than a manual saw. This thing is incredible. It's ridiculously easy to use, you never develop that fear that one mistake and you're going to lose a foot or a hand, and it's really powerful. We had a 70-foot pine tree fall in the woods behind the house. I was able to remove all of its branches in less than 2 hours and chop them up into easily disposed of bite-size pieces. Most of the branches were 10-15 feet long, and this thing NEVER lost power. That is, it felt like there was just as much juice powering the first cut as the there was the last (about 300, maybe 400). My son had told me it was good for 100 cuts, but I stopped counting after 200. I did 8 hours worth of work in 2 hours - and no sore back the next day! And it was actually fun! Just looking at you wouldn't think it could cut through anything more than a couple of inches in diameter, but I got through 6" branches like I was cutting through butter. My personal best was about 9", and next weekend I am going to try to cut some of the main tree trunk to see what happens. (Honestly, I have a neighbor who loves to use his chainsaw and he'll get through the main trunk in less than 30 minutes.) I am not sure if it is the best gift I've ever gotten, but it is in the conversation.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 6 months ago to trim trees and brush. I thought it might be ok for 1” branches and twigs etc. I found it goes well with larger branches up to 4” or so and it runs a long time on 1 charge. It is tougher than it looks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very Happy with the new Prorun Mini Chainsaw. Works as good as gas power Stihl and weight a lot less.
