very happy with my dumb tv just plug in my video cable and my hdmi cable. plug in power cable, put batteries in remote turn tv on sit with bowl of popcorn and beverage of your choice and enjoy like I'm doing now.

Great picture and good buttons

Poorly put together! Plastic around screen of tv were loose and when I attempted to snap back into place, several black lines appeared across screen and now are permanent! I shouldn't have had to repair in the first place!!!!

I purchased this TV in January 2014, by July it would not turn on. I called the Proscan helpdesk and was told that this was a major issue with this model of TV and they would order the part, send it to me and then a repairman would come to fix it. This happened June 30th, the part come July 10th and the service repairman is only in this area on July 22nd. So three weeks I have been without a TV and still having to pay the cable bill for nothing. I definitely would not buy this TV again and next time I will buy from a local dealer who actually appreciates my business and will service it within a few days. It would have been worth the $50 difference.

This tv does not have adjustable settings for when a movie or tv show is not formatted to the tv screen. No 'fill', 'zoom', or 'overscan' options to enlarge the viewing area. So you have to watch a narrow strip of viewing area across the center of the tv screen. I thought that was a standard feature on all modern TVs. Not this one!
