This is the Fort Knox of dog kennels. Very satisfied with the construction. My Great Dane/lab mix cannot break out of this one! I know its expensive, but heavy-duty.

This crate is awesome. Couldn't believe it when we put it together. Built very strong, easy to assemble, Every piece matched up perfectly. Rolls around very nicely on the wheels. I really like the look of the finished metal. Don't even waste your time on the wire crates. Best of all was the price. Downtown Pet Supply blew everyone away on price. Shipping time was quite reasonable. Highly recommend!!!

I couldn't be happier with this kennel. My dog has been able to escape and virtually destroy two kennels due to separation anxiety and to thunderstorms. This resulted in the destruction of my front window shutters on two separate occasions. She is happier in this kennel and there is no way that she can escape. Excellent purchase for those with "Houdini" dogs. It's a whole lot cheaper than continuously replacing traditional kennels.

I got the large version of this crate which is almost $500 and for that hefty price tag you would think it would last a lifetime, but that simply isn't the case. This thing is an absolute nightmare to clean and if you have a dog that accidentally goes to the bathroom in it you are going to have a tough time cleaning it unless you have a yard with a hose outside. The construction quality seemed pretty good, but I would not call this "rust resistant" by any means because the first time my dog peed inside of it most of the crate rusted and started to became corroded (this was also after a vigorous cleaning). I have had this thing for less than 2 years and it has rusted so bad that the bars have started to fall apart which i pretty disappointing.This crate would have been amazing if it was $150-$200 cheaper, easier to clean (that floor bar design is terrible), and if it was made out of stainless steel, but for the current price this is a crate that is best to be avoided.
