This weighted vest was easy to put on and take off. I use it for workouts usually lower legs, but sometimes I like to wear it while cleaning around the house as I bend down a lot picking things off the floor. This thing made me sweat in 20 minutes of just doing house work and wearing it. Not uncomfortable to wear or tight around my chest.
I am a woman and I had a nice chest area so I was not into wearing this. I thought it would be uncomfortable and tight. However I was completely wrong! It was great was back support and standing up straight. I highly recommend it for men and women.
This vest is amazing. It adds some extra weight to a workout to help burn extra calories. The best is made of durable materials, seems like if you sweat it can be easily wiped to be cleaned. I found. I flaws in the material or in the stitching. The straps are easily adjustable to fit every body type. The straps were easy to get on and off I had no issues with the buckle sticking. If taken care of properly I can see this lasting a long time. The vest itself is comfortable, seems like the weight is evenly distributed throughout the vest so it isn't lopsided to where it can cause injury. Overall I am impressed with this vest and would purchase again.
I have purchased several vest, for the purpose of added resistance with my type of active workouts. This vest is not only comfortable but great at staying in place. I can jog, sprint, or do functional fitness related to my profession as a firefighter and haven't had to worry about excessive movement.
The ProsourceFit Exercise Weighted Training Vest for Women & Men, is a great way to change up your workouts at home, at the gym or outdoors. Train like a Pro with resistance training made easy with ProsourceFit Exercise Weighted Training Vest for Women & Men. This is the 10 pound version, it's made very well , with two buckles for a secure fit.
It's a 10 pound weighted vest made for adding weight when jogging or walking. It's a fitness enhancer. In my opinion, it's better than those weights you strap to your wrists or ankles. The vest weight stays on your core which, in my opinion, doesn't easily cause injury. .
I'm not 100% sure how to wear this. Does it buckle front or back??? I had to look up photos which didn't really help. It felt awkward when wearing both ways but I just buckled it in the front. When holding the vest, it feels pretty heavy. When wearing the vest, it's hardly noticeable. The adjustable straps are nice and padded. There is a little mesh pocket, but I wore it on the back so doesn't do me any good lol. I used this for elliptical training and could absolutely tell a difference. I feel like this vest is just enough to add a little bit of a challenge, but not enough to hinder your performance. I see myself using this mostly for cardio, but it's so sleek you could wear if for anything. Walking, Zumba, weight training, cycling, etc. Bottom line – I do recommended this vest. Specifically for a beginning (like myself) who wants to add a little something extra to their workout. Docking a star because they could improve the fit/wear.
Fits similarly to a life-vest, but the top hook is near the collarbone area. There are two sets of plastic interlocking hooks on the front of the vest. The straps expand to a length of 9" on the top and 10" on the bottom when they are secured. There is a 2" elastic strap under the arm / torso area to help stretch to fit. The model in my pics is 6'4" tall and weighs 225 pounds. Measure around your shoulders / upper chest / torso to see if the vest will fit your needs. The adjustable straps with buckle hooks are nice to fit a variety of torso areas and sizes. The vest fits over the shoulders and onto the upper torso / chest area. The hooks are easy to squeeze for removing the vest. The fabric - this is a lightweight polyester-type fabric (tag says neoprene). For wearing when it is dark outside, the vest also has reflective strips in both the front and back. The back includes a longer mesh pocket for storing small personal items (such as a phone or keys or wallet.) The pocket is not large enough to fit an XL size phone. After wearing while running, spouse was not comfortable using the back pocket because it's a tad too shallow to securely hold contents in his opinion. We use this vest while walking on the treadmill. It does seems to absorb sweat if you wear it against your skin. If you wear a t-shirt under the vest, then not sweet absorption into the vest. Fit - 4 stars because the vest cut needs to be larger. The top strap near the collarbone/ throat is not comfortable. Weight - this is a true ten pounds. The weight feels like a sand-type of product inside the fabric of the vest. It is not hard blocks of weights. Feels comfortable around the body while wearing. The location of the weights is not adjustable. I like that my hands are free to hold onto the machine or bar while still getting the benefit of added resistance and extra weight during my workout. Vest does not stick to my shirt while working out.
I really like this training vest. I am not a runner, but needed added weight without tying up my hands. Since I have problems with my ankles, I needed something else. This fit the bill. I am retired, but like to workout when I can. I also like multi tasking, so using a vest seemed perfect. For me it is, I also needed to try this out for my review so I did go a bit further than my usual routines. I walk 5 miles a day. No issues and a good workout. I worked on different types of bikes, no issues. Circuit machines, no issues. The fit is comfortable and with the adjustable straps, easy to use. However, I find a bot of an issue when on the treadmill. Once I hit level 4 and had more pounding, I heard some threads give. After the workout, I checked the seams and found some starting to give. I would say this needs some additional support on the shoulders for the runners. I do like the net "pockets" to carry water...
The vest fits awkwardly over a D cup bust. The top strap hits wrong. In the back the armholes were a bit small. I think this item is not well for certain sizes but it does get the job done. The fabric picks up dirt and dust.
