ProsourceFit Slide Board Mat 6-ft with Booties & Carrying Bag for Exercise

The prosource slide board is around 6 feet long and black in color. It has kick stops on each end. The top is a slick surface and the bottom has a rubber mesh to help it stay in place during use. The mat rolls up easily and fits into a mesh carrying bag. It also comes with one pair of booties that you can wear over your shoes. The booties have elastic at the top opening. The booties seem large enough to fit most users. It comes with a instructional book on different exercises to do on the mat. Exercises included are alternating side lunges, oblique knee tucks, mountain climbers, forward lunges, burpees and sliding push ups. I found it to be a little bit of a learning curve with first use. Coordination became easier with use. You definitely slide easily on the mat. I did feel that this provided an effective workout. It doesn't take up much space and it is easily rolled up for storage. The mat has gotten a little bit of scratches on it from use. I did not experience any issues with the mat sliding around during use. This is a great work out tool for someone with limited space for equipment.

I received the ProSource Slude Board Mat in exchange for my honest review. If you have never used a slide board before, you are in for a treat. This is a great slide board to have to assist with your workout regimen. The mat came neatly rolled in the carrying case. Once unrolled, one end doesn't completely lay flat; it keeps rolling up at the end. After continuous use, it should eventually stay flat. It comes with a pair a booties that doesn't appear to be one size fit all. My husband wears a size 15 and he had difficulty putting on the booties. I would recommend larger booties. The slide board came with an exercise guide that consisted of 7 exercises that you can do on the mat. For additional workouts, you can always use Google or YouTube. The exercises can be modified to fit your fitness level. With the weather being crazy, this helps me to still remain active and workout without having to leave my house. If you are looking for a slide board, I would definitely recommend this one.

I was expecting a huge bag with a heavy slide but I was surprise it has the salí of my regular yoga mat. Comes with its own breathable bag, put my shoes on and ready to try the shoes covers, easy to put it on. I love the way I feel the burn as soon I start doing even simple lunges. Climb ups are amazingly burning and side to side it's pretty challenging , 5” and I am literally sweating . Comes with a excersises guise but you can find many more on YouTube. The only thing is: you have to lay it down for couple hours so the mat can attach pretty tight to the floor.

I love this exercise/yoga gear. It doesn't slide and stays in place. It also includes a pair of booties and a carrying bag . The mat surface is smooth, soft; yet very durable. All pieces are of good quality. I find it to be comfortable as well and cleaning is simple and easy. I would recommend this product.

This is awesome for those who are tired of the same ol' exercise. I exercise about 6 days a week. Running and walking. This board was a challenge in a good way. It will test your balance and improve flexibility. The board arrived rolled up with its own storage bag and arrived with a pair of booties. Initially you will feel like the first time you went ice skating. Very slippery. Once I got the hang of it I was able to slide from one end to the other. I definitely feel the burn in my thighs. There are some videos online that show you the different kinds of exercises. Great for warm-ups or tone-downs. Easy to do in front of the tv. This is definitely something that can add more excitement or something different to your workout routine.

I'm a fairly fit guy, but man oh man this thing uses muscles that typical running / push-ups don't even touch! When using the lycra booties to do pushups, the effort to maintain your balance really works the core, while preventing your hands from slipping side to side during the up/down motion strains your triceps. If possible, I will always use this for my upper body workout. The ice skating exercise was so much fun, sliding around the mat. It's almost like you're not even working out! That is until you rest and really start to feel the burn! The Exercise mat comes complete with a carrying bag, lycra booties (I wear a size 10.5 shoe and they fit great), as well as an instructional exercise guide for some basic exercises. When initially unrolling the mat, it did not lay flat but this was noted in the instruction guide. I laid it out flat overnight and sure enough, it flattened out. I am very pleased with this product and have definitely included it into my exercise regime.

This is a great lateral movement exercise tool for simulated ice skating, and other workouts that require a low friction surface for sliding. The only issue I have is that it came all rolled up in a coil and now one end of the mat won't lie flat. I am able to use it, but sometimes it makes a noise of slapping the floor when I slide to the side that sticks up. It seems to be constructed of good quality materials and should hold up with repeated use. It does come with a mesh bag to roll up and store. The only negative it that it then won't lie flat. An alternative is to use a large coat hanger, and hang the mat over it, and then hang it up in a closet. That will allow the mat to uncoil and hopefully it will stop sticking up on one end.

I never used a slide mat before but after watching some exercise videos, I eventually got the hang of it. This mat really helps you burn calories and tone your body depending on which exercise you do of course. I thought the stops would come off but they don't. I'm very pleased with this mat.

I couldn't wait to get this because I had one similar many years ago. The price is way too high for the quality. The mat won't stay unrolled and flat to exercise on. It's just very flimsy and I tried several times to make it work.
