Prospect Farms Rock Cornish Game Hen, 1 lb (Frozen)

I love love these Cornish hens! They are small and come frozen. I think they are best prepared in a crockpot, in morning, before Church! They are also awesome in soups. Single people cannot go wrong with these. It's easy to plan a meal with one of these in the freezer!

I buy Cornish hens at least once a month It's very easy to fix: put it in the fridge the day. (give it at least 24 hours) I know it doesn't have any giblets or neckbones, but I still think you need to rinse out the bird and pat it dry season it pepper, Head Country seasoning and garlic Spray mine down a little bit or put butter on the top.

They're a bit small this year, but I can know they weren't fed hormones or adulterated with fluids to bulk up the price. I buy them for Thanksgiving to cut down on food waste (plus it just seems nicer to not kill a bird you throw most of it away right? Why should 2 people have a 5 pound bird?). These little birds marinate wonderfully, pair well with potatoes, corn bread, stuffing, sweet potatoes, etc.

They're easy and a classic dinner for me. Turn the wings under and placed in a dish, then brush with melted butter and salt and pepper. Pop it in the oven for the amount of time for weight and it's ready. Very easy and a great protein source. One of my favorite meals.

I like this brand of Cornish hen and buy it periodically. I usually bake it in the oven just after rubbing it with salt, tomato paste , yoghurt and some spice. Most of my guests like it very much..

This was delivered with my groceries, so I did not pick it out. I was the size of my hand and I would have left it at the store. The price was way too much for the size. It tasted alright, but I was still thinking about the price and couldn't really enjoy it.

Received as a substitution to Tyson Hens. Received one and frozen as appropriate. But is literally flattened! Not cooking right away, but the bones are bound to be flattened, crushed.

I buy these all the time, most recently, the bird i recieved has no breast skin, one of the leg was semi detached, the wing tip were black and there were still a lot of feathers. It would seem these are made by Tyson, I've notice their frozen stuff to be poorly butchered before.

I bought 2 cornish game hens on this order very dissatisfied as 1 was half the size as the other one. a week ago I bought 2 and they were both very nice size like they should be. I'm found these for Christmas dinner I will definitely have to buy another one to replace the one that's half the size as the other 3. the employee picking items should be paying attention!!

not even close to the turkey breast I ordered. my mistake for not checking more closely when asked to approve. at first glance, I thought I was getting the turkey vreast I had srlected as my dubstitution preference. imagine my shock to gind an under one piund cornish game hen instead of the 5-8 pound turkey breast. no eay this little cirnish game hen will feed 5-6 people
