ProtectEase Premium King Size Waterproof Zippered Mattress Protector

The ProtectEase premium waterproof allergy and bed bug protector is a fully encasing mattress protection. It covers the entire mattress with poly coated stretch fabric for waterproof protection against stains and spills, and provides complete zippered protection against bed bugs, dust mites and allergens. The top, bottom and sidewall are 100% polyester and the film on it is 100% polyethylene. It does take 2 people to stand the mattress up and slip this cover on the mattress, put it back on the bed, and then adjust the fit and line up the corners and carefully zip it up. I noticed there is a flap of material inside the zippered area for extra protection, to insure nothing gets in or out through the zippered area. The zipper opening has a Velcro flap to ensure maximum protection as well. It fits mattresses up to 14” thick. The mattress protector is not too slippery and does not make noise when you sleep on it like some waterproof covers that feel like you are sleeping on a plastic bag. The mattress protector is machine wash and dry and has a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in workmanship or materials only. Overall, I am very happy with this mattress protector, it seems very durable and I have had no problems with it at all.

I chose this Protect Ease Premium Mattress Encasement for my mattress because I have moved a lot and my mattress has gotten beaten up. I have an expensive mattress and wish I had known about this cover years ago. I am thrilled with this product. It will not only protect your bed, but it will protect you. This cover is has Waterproof, Stain, and Spill protection. It also has Allergen and Dust Mite Protection, while creating a Bed Bug Barrier. It is allergist recommended. This protector completely encases your mattress. It is 76” x 80” and fits mattresses up to 14“thick. I have a pillow top king that has pillow pads on both sides and is very thick. When we went to put it on, my kids doubted it would fit. But it worked out wonderfully. I was so anxious to get it on; we didn’t see the directions for installation on the back of the package. We unzipped it and worked it on the ends and then stood it up and finished pulling it up. But the directions show to stand the mattress on end and pull it down from the top. I think either way would work. You really need at least 2 people to put it on. We had 4 and that was easy. The cover is made of a soft poly knit fiber, with a rubberized type coating on the entire inside of the encasement for waterproofing. The fabric is really soft and quiet. Because the inside is rubberized, it doesn’t slide around once you get the cover on. It has a zipper that starts about 2 feet below the end, and it goes up and across the top and down the other side for ease going on and removing. The encasement is machine washable on low temperature and tumble dry on low. It says to include towels or linens in the load for best results. The encasement has a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in workmanship or materials only. My mattress looks brand new with this on. I am thrilled with this product. I would recommend it to anyone!!!

I received this Waterproof Allergy and Bed Bug Mattress Protector. This was for a twin bed. My mattress size is 37" x 74" x 8" and the mattress protector calls for 39" x 75" x 14". So needless to say mine is a little bit loose because my mattress is not a thick. I put a padded mattress protector over this one so with it being a little loose was not a problem. This is not a padded mattress pad it is very thin. It would definitely protect your mattress from spills, urine, bed bugs, dust mites etc. It is washable in the washing machine but I like that you can wipe the pad itself. It is some kind of plastic which is very soft and it is not hard or noisy. It would help with allergies too by keeping stuff from getting into the mattress. It would be a pain if you want to change it all the time because it encloses around the entire mattress. It zip and unzips easily to get over the mattress. It keeps your mattress from getting ruined and it also can cover up a mattress that looks terrible, so either way you win! I would recommend this mattress protector.

Love it! Easy to get on and can't tell we are sleeping on it, no crinkles or noise, feel like our mattresses are protected.

I really like this Protect Ease Premium Mattress Encasement, because it provides great protection for my bed. Some details regarding this encasement include: 1) it is made entirely with a poly-coated stretch knit fabric. Because of this, the encasement provides waterproof protection for your bed in case you ever spill any liquid while drinking in bed. I love how I do not have to worry about stains and spills when using this mattress encasement for my bed; 2) the mattress encasement comes with a zipper so it offers ultimate protection from not only spills from liquids, but also unwanted creatures such as bed bugs, dust mites and allergens. Overall, I think this Premium Mattress Encasement does a great job so that my bed maintains clean and dust-free. In terms of the color, I personally like how it is super white because I think it also creates a really clean image for my bed. It is really easy to put it onto your mattress. All you have to do is unzip the mattress encasement all the way and then slip your mattress into the encasement, zip the encasement back up, and then whalaaa a beautiful and well-protected bed. However, I can see how some people may not like having to place the mattress completely into this encasement since they might find it a hassle and a lot of work.

It protects my mattress very well

Bought this with new mattress we purchased from Sam's, but it won't fit the mattress. It's for up to a 10 inch, therefore won't fit the thicker mattresses.

BUYER BEWARE: The full size shown on Walmart's website says right on the front that it fits up to 14"mattresses. The ProtectEze package that came is identical to that one EXCEPT it says right on the front that it fits up to 10" matresses! For me, it worked out because I put it on my 9" boxspring. Had I only wanted it for my 11" mattress, I would have had to go through the trouble and time of returning it. And BTW, it does NOT stretch to fit more than a 10" mattress.

This reminds me of sleeping on college dorm mattresses. It made our nice memory foam mattress miserable. I think because this cover completely encases the mattress (bottom to top) with a zipper closure. Our mattress lost all air circulation, making it hot, and this cover is vinyl/ crinkly. I am going back to water proof covers that are waterproof only on the top layer, breathe on the sides, and contain no vinyl. Others you ruin the experience of a high quality mattress. If you want to protect mattresses at a hotel, B&B, this could work, but you will need to add a mattress pad.
