I purchased this collar for a malnourished, emaciated Doberman I'm fostering because the other collars I had were just too big for this poor guy. I like this bright blue collar because the covering is very soft against his neck and this collar is a lot higher than my others. It's not as wide but the depth makes up for the lesser outer diameter. The collar goes on and off with no difficulty. All in all I'm pleased with the purchase and thrilled with the reasonable cost.

My pupper had 2 torn ACL'S over the Christmas holidays. They happened EXACTLY 2 weeks apart.. to the day! This all happened very suddenly as I was planning on dealing with the 1st one after the holidays because the closest veterinary orthopedic surgeon is 2 hours away and she was holding her own really well...until the 2nd one happened. Obviously, at that point she couldn't walk, at all, so it had to be taken care of immediately!! So I had to get everything done %26 supplies ordered right away. The donut came %26 was waiting at the front door when we arrived home the day of the surgery. It's been a lifesaver %26 she didn't hate it like I thought she would. Held up %26 washes well. Great, fast service %26 value %26 perfect for intended purpose!!

Easy to inflate…. but I read that it deflates easily, though. I will see how it holds up when I use in a few days. :) Reasonable price %26 should not be too uncomfortable for him to wear while surgery heals. Size is on the small size for a medium. I would not use on a neck wider than 12” around

Wayyyy better than an e-collar/the dreaded cone of shame. My beagle was like a lil bulldozer when he went outside, scooping up dirt in that thing. He couldn't see anything in his peripheral field and it scared him. This inflatable collar solved all that.

My German Shepherd had cyst removal surgery a week ago. No licking at all with this donut on. He's totally comfortable with it being on 24/7. Super easy to put on, easy to inflate, has strong velcro closure and it's like a pillow for him when he lays down. Awesome purchase!

Best money I ever spent. It has been a lifesaver for our fur baby If you ever need a cone for your pet. This one is fantastic and shipping was excellent

overall the concept is there, but for my dogs use it did not work. He had a hotspot on his rear and by his tail and was still able to lick even with the inflatable cone on. So I had to switch back to the original cone before getting some pajamas for him that worked great.

My dog has a wound on his paw that he's not supposed to lick. Nothing seems to work to prevent him from licking it, including this. I didn't want to put a cone on his head, so at first I tried bandages but he was able to get them off. I also tried a rubber bootie but those are so tight and difficult to work with. So I finally decided to get a cone. When I saw this one, I thought it would be a more comfortable alternative to the traditional cone. It is a beautiful blue color and easy to inflate. It fits my dog just fine. However, he is still able to lick his paw with the cone on, so the cone does not prevent him from reaching it. He was also able to squeeze his head out of the cone and take it off after a short period of time even though I had it tightened snuggly around his neck. Therefore, according to my experience with my dog, this cone is useless. It does seem like good quality though, and it does fit him, so I don't totally want to give it a bad review. I'm debating whether I should return it or use it as a travel pillow or even a cushion to sit on.

This is an inflatable collar. It reminds me of a pool float when my kids were younger. My dog is still able to get to the hot spot that continues to bother him. Don't waste your money on this cheaply designed collar. I wish I had gone ahead and splurged a little bit and purchased a collar that would actually prevent him from scratching and gnawing at his hot spot. The old adage is still true to this day: "You get what you pay for."

My dog got this off in 1 minute. It was on correctly and secure. Not made for an active dog. It looks like it is good quality and I was over the regular vet cones. If your dog is calm then maybe this will work. The Velcro strap doesn't have enough Velcro on it. If it worked, I would've bought more Velcro and sewed it on.
