Protege 2 Pc Softside Spinner Luggage Set, 21" and 25" Checked, Teal

I took this set of luggage on a road trip a couple of months ago. The two pieces are just the right size to hold plenty of clothes, shoes, toiletries and tech gear, but also are really easy to lift in and out of the back of my vehicle. That's a bonus for an old woman like me. I love the teal color, and I found that the two cases roll easily over pavement as well as indoor floors. I discovered another bonus, too. My old luggage with two wheels is heavier to manage, whereas these bags with 4 wheels carry the whole weight and I don't have to support any of the weight.

We received the Protege 2 Pc Softside Spinner Luggage Set, 21" and 25" Checked (Teal color) just in time for our family’s New Year skiing vacation. I really love the color of the luggage. It is bright and different from all of my other luggages, and is very easy to spot when there are so many other luggages coming out of the conveyer belt in the baggage claim area at the airport. Both of the luggages have a spinner wheel and works perfectly and smoothly. It glides through the ground, concrete, elevator, escalator, and all bumps just fine. The handles of both luggages can pull in and out easily just by pressing a single button. There are so many storage pockets for smaller items (toiletries, phone chargers, laptops, small clothing...etc.) Each and all zippers works great, and did not get stuck or caught while opening/closing. The luggages is very lightweight so it is perfect even for small children to use. My daughter used the smaller one (21” and 7.2 pounds) and I used the larger one (25” and 8 pounds).

Gave this 5 stars because all the hardware (zippers, casters, handles) seem pretty heavy duty & all operate smoothly. Also like the added features-compared to my older bags-like the extra padding, handle on 2 sides, & expandability. Rolls easily, & the bright teal color means it will be easy to spot on a conveyor belt. My only wish would be for one of the casters to be lockable so the bag could be left standing on a sloping surface.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Protege soft sided spinner luggage set! The quality and durability are very good and I love the fresh look and functionality these two suitcases offer. They are spacious and feature easy to open zipper compartments, tie down straps on the inside to keep everything organized, as well as an expandable zipper to add 2 inches of extra space if needed, and easy access exterior pockets for convenient storage of items that you want to keep in reach while on the go. The best feature is the 360 degrees swiveling that the wheels offer, this makes for quick and easy maneuvering on the go even in tight spaces, it’s definitely less work for my arms to pul and turn these luggage pieces. The telescopic handles easily glide out and back in with the push of a button, and it can easily be adjusted to the height that is most comfortable for you. I love this luggage set and I highly recommend it! They definitely made our holiday traveling time easier and more enjoyable!

I got this set for my husband for Christmas and he is very pleased with them. The color is beautiful and they seem to be pretty sturdy for travel. I'm sure the fabric will show dirt if it goes on a plane--that's just to be expected with a light color--but we are still glad we got them.

ok, so i'm usually not the one to toot my own horn but i can truly pick 'em! sure i was just looking for something inexpensive and decent for a few trips (I mean, really, isn't Wal-Mart the place for good deals?), but i was more than a little impressed with myself for checking out this particular product. First off, the spinner wheels. these things move like greased lightning! and they turn on a dime! my last luggage like a dumptruck on prozac... i also have to mention that the pocket placement on the front is perfect! top one for all those things i never know what to do with when going through security. bottom pocket for computer, reading materials, dirty laundry... you name it! then, if that weren't enough, the front expands! really not sure if i saw that on the list but i'm guessing this gives about another 25% in space. top and side handles (nice touch) and the telescoping handles locking place. To top everything off, the material (already a fashionable shade of turquoise), has a lusterous sheen to it. yep, that's right, it's SHINY! to me, that gives the luggage just that added touch of quality that makes me happy to have it with me! After that, the 26" size luggage is my size of choice when traveling. Not too big and not too small. the 20" is what you might think but light enough not to be a burden and and durable enough to keep up with me in the long run. all in all, a quality piece of work i would be happy to recommend!!

I like these suit cases! They have so much room for everything I need whenever I go on my vacation in May. If your thinking about buying these I would get them!

I'm so happy I found this Luggage! it's perfet and I love the easy to spot teal color. GREAT PRICE FOR SPINNER WHEELS LUGGAGE.

The set is of poor quality. The wheels do not spin easily which causes the luggage to tip over easily and takes effort to steer. This is very troublesome in a crowded airport. Even with only 15-20 lbs of weight inside, neither luggage piece moves easily. After my first plane trip, one-way, the handle on the 25" piece no longer lifts and the casing around the 21" handle is damaged. The fabric also has some minor tears which is expected normal wear and tear after regular usage but not after only 2 trips. None of the luggage of my traveling partners was damaged so I doubt it was rough handling by the carrier. This is outside of Walmart's 30-90 day return window but it does have a 5-year manufacturer's warranty. Unfortunately, I was not able to locate instructions for the return process nor was I able to locate contact information for the manufacturer. Searching the manufacturer's name only results in 3rd party vendors such as Walmart. Walmart provided the contact number 800-856-9119. I called outside of their regular business hours so I left a message and will also try calling again on Monday.

I would give it ZERO stars if I could. The luggage set broke even before I travelled. Getting out of my Uber a wheel broke off and it was too late to fix as I was already at the airport. Made my whole trip extra arduous lugging a luggage set with broken wheels. The most inconvenient thing on the whole trip. And a true back killer. I ended up pulling a muscle pulling this suitcase around. The only thing good about it is the color.
