Protege 20" Hardside Carry-on Luggage

I received this product for free for an honest opinion. The carry-on luggage is very light and small. I like the nice green/blue color so I can spot it easily. My 1 year old son is currently using it to put his toys inside. He was able to lift (open/close) the cover easily. He's also using it to practice zipping the zippers open/close. When we travel for the holidays, I can just put my 1 week worth of clothes inside. There's only 1 zipper which is on the outside (to close the luggage). The inside has only 2 straps to hold clothes in.

I was very excited to receive my item in the mail. I've always wanted a personalized suitcase versus just the black ones that we had. I needed something to where I could take for a weekend away, instead of taking my big suitcase. I was pleasantly surprised when it came in it wasn't too pink it was more like a light pink blush. The first thing I noticed upon opening my box was that the suitcase has very nice rubber feet on the side of it as when you go to open a suitcase you have to put it on its side. Most suitcases do not have this so I was very happy to see this as it wouldn't get scratched on the ground. It has three handles, one grab handle on the top, one grab handle on the side, and an extending handle on the top. It has four wheels that move in all directions so it can completely spin in a circle which is nice so that you don't have to always lean over your suitcase to walk with it. I was pleasantly surprised about is when you open the suitcase up it has two sides and both of them have the clothing elastic holders. A lot of times you only get on one side the elastic holder but this one has two. It is nicely lined with a purlish grayish liner and it's pretty deep. It is nice and Light so it shouldn't take away too much weight if you're boarding a plane which I like because I like to put as much stuff as I can in my suitcase.

This piece is very light weight but, definitely well made and it has several inner pockets as well to help organize whatever I happen to be packing for a trip. The self-storing extendable handle allows me to roll the bag in front, behind or beside me without straining my back to do so. This bag is surely going to be my go to bag when I am packing for a short trip.

This luggage carry on is absolutely perfect . The size is very ideal and within standards or a carry on. The hard shell is great as opposed to the soft luggage’s because it withstands falls better. It has ama strap in the inside that holds everything in it’s place. The color is a great blush pink. Overall this is a great luggage to have, a must buy.

This is a great size carry-on suit case. It has plenty of room for your essentials and more. Both sides can get loaded with your stuff. The hard shell is protective but also looks sleek and modern. The wheels are 360 and run really smooth. The handle has different height adjustments. When it is empty it is light weight so it won’t add that much extra weight to your luggage. Very good quality I recommend it! It is very easy to travel with!

I chose this hardside suitcase in blue for my mini vacations I take throughout the year. I selected this pretty blue, so it would be easier to locate when I need to find something quickly (always happens). It’s outer case is somewhat hard and rugged, and the inside has lots of room to pack quite a few things. It has secured straps inside to lock down your belongings. Has 2 different handles for comfortable lifting, and a telescopic handle and smooth-running wheels for pulling. Overall, it’s a simple piece of luggage that fulfills my needs. Highly recommend

I was really surprised when my suitcase arrived. It is very sturdy but light at the same time. It doesn't expand to a deeper case but it is plenty big for what I need for traveling. Holds quite a lot of clothes if you roll them as well as other items. I like that it has a hard side to it. The telescoping handle adjusts to different heights as you need it and the wheels are super smooth! They roll so easy in any direction. Very please with this little suitcase.

Not a bad little suitcase but probably not for heavy, frequent use. I was looking for a small, light suitcase to use as a carry on for a short trip. This is perfect for me. This is a hard sided suitcase, but the sides have some flex, and the zipper that joins the two sides does not seem to be super heavy duty. This empty suitcase weighed 5.6 lbs. It is made in China. This has 4 wheels and an extendable plastic handle for easy movement but occasionally, when you tilt the suitcase to move on 2 wheels for quick travel, the wheels get caught up and do not move in the correct direction together. You just have to take a moment to spin the suitcase to get the wheels moving together. It does have comfortable to use strap handles ony the top and side with so it is easy to carry if you do not want to roll it. There are hard feet opposite the side strap that make it easy to put it down and have it solidly stand up on its side. Inside is simple with no zipping or dividing pockets (see photo). There are just 2 elastic straps that clip together from the top and bottom to help keep things in each half so you can close one half on top of the other for zipping the whole suitcase closed. Each half is lined with a thin plastic sheeting. All in all, not bad. I actually prefer the simplicity.

Lighter than many hard-shell suitcases & smaller 20" size is perfect for a short trip. The color is vibrant & stands out from all the black bags out there. I've used this solely for car travel; I wouldn't recommend it for checking on an aircraft as there's no way to lock the bag & it's pretty lightweight. The zippers do not have a "barrel" loop or even open ends to run a lock through. The telescoping handle only locks at the fully extended length & feels a little flimsy. It's small enough to fit in most domestic & international flight overhead bins, but if you had to gate check it the lack of locking capability & shell weight makes me not recommend this for flying. The interior straps may hold clothes in place well but I'd also prefer a small zip pocket. All in all a fair bag for car travel but probably not strong enough for flying.

The Protege hardside carry-on weighs 5 lb and 4.4 ounces. It comes with a 5 year warranty. The rubber grip handle on the top and side were extremely comfortable and did not cut into my fingers or hand and was easy to carry that way. The space at the top of the inside of the arched handle for fingers is 1.5". The 20" telescoping handle on the Protege Hardside Carry-on was plenty long for me at 5'7". It did have some play in it fully extended and would move back and forth slightly. The swivel wheels are swively! The wheels rotated 360 degrees with ease and also functioned easily tilting the Protege hardside carry-on on 2 wheels and pulling it behind. The heavier the carry-on was filled the easier it was to utilize when pushing it on all 4 of its wheels. The hardside carry-on had plenty of room inside. I had 2 shirts, 2 skirts, sweatshirt, pair of jeans, pair of pants, running shorts, undergarments, small toiletry bag under 2 shoe bags that contained running shoes and heels and there was still room for more. There were zero pockets inside or outside on the hard ABS case. The two containment straps were a push button style sliding insert, which took me a few tries to get them to clip in place. The Protege hardside carry-on has an odor inside I believe that it is coming from the material liner, which is not removable. It may eventually off gas and dissipate after weeks or months. However now, I do not want my clothing to have chemicals on them or smell like them. Once I arrive at my destination, I will not be able to wash everything.
