Protege 32" Expandable Rolling Duffel Bag

This bag is awesome.....wish they were still being sold!!

We love it

Bought this bag for a greyhound trip. This bag lasted me through my trip to KCMO AND it's great for hauling groceries up to my apartment. My only gripe, I wish the wheels where bigger and for there to be a sturdy plate on the side closest to the wheels to keep it from dragging on the ground and possibly ripping.

Rollers and compressibility make this Expandable Rolling Duffel an excellent travel tool. Canvas fabric and strong zipper have been durable enough to survive tight packing. We have carried donated clothing and teddy bears multiple times and it's beginning to wear out with the abuse of international travel, but it's out of stock everywhere, so we haven't been able to replace it. Inexpensive, price point is manageable for charity workers. Easy to collapse and bring back home; those with retractable handles are too bulky and heavy to fit in our regular suitcase for the return trips. We would buy several as gifts and plan to replace every couple of years if it becomes available again. A selection of darker colors would also be great, such as blue, teal, green, gray, chocolate, purple, burgundy.

This bag holds a lot! However, it is a little hard to pull around, the wheels lock up, this can be very frustrating when you are in a crowded place, like boarding a cruise or at the airport. I think it would be a bit too big as a carry on.

We bought for a two day trip to San Francisco last year. Didn't last the trip. Lack of retractable handle is a negative here.
