Protege Pearson 20" Hard Side Carry On Luggage, Black Matte (Walmart Exclusive)

I absolutely love the Protege Pearson luggage. It is very sturdy and light weight. I was very impressed by the amount of things the luggage held. The handle was very easy to access and the spinners were great and easy to maneuver. Very very nice piece of luggage. Would love to have other sizes of the prot4 Pearson luggage. Will definitely recommend this to everyone.

I have wanted a hard cased carry on for a while. I also need a carry on bag for my kids and this is the best of both worlds. The suitcase feels like air like 3 lbs I think and it has the for wheel easy to roll feature. The hard case seems pretty durable especially if you carry on and don't check it as it's the perfect size for overhead bin. The only weak feature is I worry how strong the four wheels are in taking long term wear and tear. I was very impressed by the inside storage. There are several compartments and straps to keep everything in place while on the go.

My first impressions of this Protégé 20 Inch Upright luggage are as such: Pros: 1. Suitcase is very lightweight. 2. All of its wheels spin a full 360 degrees. They spin smoothly, making it easy to navigate your luggage, with very little effort. 3. Around the outside center of the luggage there is a zipper that you can unzip to expand the width of the suitcase by about 1.25 inches more, giving the user that much more packing space. 4. There is a sturdy set of elasticized straps on the right side, that easily buckles/snaps together to secure your clothing/items. 5. On that same side of the suitcase (right side) there are two very handy features: 1) There is a zipper compartment on the bottom that contains an extra nylon pouch that zips closed and buttons to the bottom of the suitcase, to keep it in place. This pouch spans the height and width of this case, and it can serve as a separator/barrier between clothing. I think this pouch could be well used to keep extra toiletries, soiled or wet items. 2) I was pleasantly surprised to see two USB charging ports available on the outside of that same side of bag. On the inside there is another zipper pouch that will hold your mobile device charger, which you attach to a port on the inside of the bag. I was very happy to see this feature, as we're sometimes delayed in the airports and need a little extra charge while we're waiting around. There are some very handy features in this bag! 6. On the left side of the bag, there is a nylon flap that covers your clothing and zips all the way around to conceal that whole side of the bag and keep separate from the other side. I really like this! If you have clothing that is still clean, you can put dirties on one side and clean on the other and separate them. In the past, I had to use plastic bags to separate everything out. This is great! 7. The handle has a button on top that releases it, to adjust it to your desired level. In the past I've had handles that didn't slide up, down, or lock into place easily, but this one glides into position, and locks easily. Potential con: 1. This product claims a 5 year warranty, so it may not be a concern(?), but the outside of this luggage is a plastic material, and I am not sure how it will hold up over time if it is checked baggage. Sometimes the airline crew are very rough with the luggage, when loading and unloading. I am hoping this won't be an issue for me, because I am going to try to use this as a carry-on, EVEN THOUGH the tag on this product does NOT say “airline carry-on approved”. I think it's an inch taller for Delta, but not too tall for another airline I looked up. If this is a concern, l would consider buying the model one size smaller of this bag, because they count the wheels in their measurement, not the bag.

I am doing this review as a Wal-Mart Sparks Reviewer and it is for the 24 inch upright suitcase by Protege. It is the Pearson collection weighing only 9.1lbs. My favorite thing about this suitcase is the 4 wheel 360 degree spinners with a push button telescopic handle that you can easily use to guide the bag in any direction you want it to go. The case itself has a body that is 17in W X 10.5in D X 24in H; with an expandable interior as well as a heavy-duty and durable exterior. I should also mention it comes with a 5-year warranty. It has 2 exterior zippers that you can use to open the case, once open it has two very spacious compartments that also have on one side a cover that you can zip shut to keep your cloths in so they don't get thrown around the bag. The other compartment comes with two straps to keep cloths tied down; and in a small pouch there is a small bag attached that you could use for miscellaneous items (maybe shoes or soiled cloths); it has a zipper in the bottom of the bag for removing the items easily. I am very pleased with this case and I highly recommend it.

Fits on plane well. smooth wheels easy to push through airport ,even with other duffle on top of it . Would definitely buy another one . It comes with 1 packing cube bag which was great ! Classic black sleek look !Has charging usb port .Long handle which is great for taller people.Didn't have to bend to push.

This hard shell luggage was affordable but also very durable. It is an accurate hand luggage size and comfortably fit all my hand luggage essentials. It rolled well and was comfortable for my travels. i would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for hand luggage.

Very nice luggage. It holds alot of items. You can use this as a carry on in the plane. I loved this such much that i purchased everyone in my family one. It is also very sturdy.

Great product at a great value. Similar in construction to more expensive name brand luggage. Haven't flown with it yet, but it did great on a recent road trip

I'm disappointed with the product. I received the product with several scratches and stains. I can clean the stains but I can't get rid of the scratches. I'm not sure if the item received is the only one with this issue or if others had the same issue. Material seems ok but only works as a carry on, don't check this in, definitely going to break!

Worst product . It came crushed, not wrapped also.
