Protein 29 Conditioning Hair Groom Clear Gel, 3 Oz.

I like that this old school product has withstood the test of time. I feel it nourishing my scalp just as it did in the 70's. I was surprised and happy to find it is still on the market. Good price and without all that hifalutin fanfare and hyperbole about how it does this and that and, it really does this and that. May not be the answer for all hair textures but for my fine, statically, hair, it works wonders.

This is a MUST TRY product! It's made for men however, it is amazing for women's hair. I have longer hair and it just makes your style last longer. Try it!

I like this product because it has been around which seen like ages ago and it still performs like the first time I purchased it. This is a keeper!!

I have great difficulty finding Protein 29 in stores. I've used other sources to [procure it but frequently get an oily liquid instead of a gel becaue it's way beyond shelf life. This order provided 3 tubes of gel in the proper condition.

I have bought a number of these and they have all deteriorated to a milky liquid. This one is the proper gel that it is supposed to be.

I have used Protein 29 hair gel in the past and it was always a gel, never a liquid. This time, it came as mostly liquid which makes it very messy and difficult to apply to my hair. It may have been old inventory or stored at an elevated temperature resulting in this condition. In any case, I will not be ordering it again from Walmart

I have enjoyed Protein 29 for years. It is a great product. But the one I received was less than expected. Instead of being a gel, it was pure liquid and was not usable. I returned it. I will reorder hoping it will be the gel I used for years.
