Beautiful color foliage
Plant was delayed as usual via Fed Ex and box smashed at top. I love the dark foliage of Center Stage series. It is dropping some leaves due to stress. A little over 1 foot tall and with some bug eaten leaves but I think will pull out of stress and be ok. Will update later after planting. It did have a few lil closed buds.

Hard to see life after shipping
I wish my delivery of this crape myrtle looked like its photo on the Walmart online order page. It arrived looking dead after a full week of shipping from North Carolinia to North California. I have yet to see any signs of life after a week of daily watering in a very large pot of organic potting soil.

Obvious scale and insect damage
I love the foilage and bloom color. Came in with OBVIOUS insect damage to the point I was afraid it would damage my other plants and trees. Had to purchase a Neem Oil and other products to contain and hopefully repair the damage . Has bounced back well. Neither WalMart nor the PW supplier were much help. Should have NEVER been shipped. My speciman should have been a $2 item at the end of the season.
