This is the most powerful fastest cutting chainsaw I have ever owned. Bought this saw to cut down 2 - 30 inch white oak trees and it did the job. Be careful do not try to drop start this saw, too much compression. Just follow instructions and set chain brake. Would definitely buy this saw again!!
This is my thoughts on my new Proyama PCS68 chainsaw. When I got it in the mail I liked that it was double boxed protecting all the contents. After opening the boxes I found all the contents that was listed on the packing list was there and nothing had any damage to it. I liked that the saw was almost completely assembled needing only to put on the bumper spike and bar and chain. Once I got those things on I was surprised at how easily it started. I just pushed the primer bulb until it was putting fuel in the carburetor then pulled the choke out completely and gave it a pull. It fired on the first pull so I pushed the choke back in and after two more pulls it started right up. I let it run maybe fifteen or twenty minutes then throttled it to bring it to an idle. From idle every time I throttled it up it responded with no bogging at all I then held the bar close to a piece of cardboard and it was oiling the way it should. I then took it to a twenty four inch green oak log and with the twenty four inch bar on the saw I started cutting. I was surprised how strong the saw pulled the three eighths chain. If there was any loss of speed it was so little that it wasn't noticeable. It is louder than my ms250 but I'm not sure how it would compare to a different saw a comparable size. Wearing the earmuffs that came with the saw, which I suppose a person should do, the loudness of the saw isn't noticeable. All in all I am very happy with the saw and will recommend it to others.
I was very excited about getting my 1st gas chainsaw. I have a battery operated one but recharging the battery takes up more time than putting in gas. Putting the chainsaw together was not difficult for me but I couldn’t get the darn thing to start or even act like it wanted to start. So I never got a chance to use it. So I returned it.
For the price its a nice saw. Good amount of power for a 12 inch blade, started 4th pull from the box and 1st or 2nd time after that every time since.
Very powerful saw , comes with the 2 sizes on bar and chain , easy assembly. I put gas in it and it cranked right up , you just can't beat this price for this!!!!
First off this saw comes with 2 chains and 2 bars, hearing protection, face shield, gas/oil mixing can and a bag to store the saw in all for $199! This saw is powerful with 62cc engine and cuts every bit a good as my Husqvarna 440 that cost almost $400. You won't be sorry because this baby cut through Red Oak with ease. Check out my pics and you'll see!
Hard to believe how this saw performs for what I paid for it. I have used this saw to cut down and up several decent size trees for firewood, and it did great. I had to adjust the carb a few turns out and when I first got it and ever since it has ran strong. For what you pay for it you can’t beat it
Like the title says, this saw rips. I've been using a Stihl ms250 for the last seven years. I really like my Stihl but it decided to take a break. I bought the Proyama PCS62 to fill in until I figure what the issue is with the Stihl. What Stihl?... The Proyama is a step up in displacement/power. You can really tell the difference. The chain is aggressive. Maybe too aggressive for someone just doing yard-work. I heat with wood so I need a saw to work hard and fast. The power and chain meet the need. ***Watch the chain and the bar nuts. There is a knack to getting them tight and staying that way. Once you get it right, hold on for the ride. You may want to invest in some nylon locking nuts, to be safe. I've watched a few videos on the saws and paid close attention to the nuts while I was working. I'm looking forward to putting this saw to hard use over the next few years. We'll see how it holds up.
I purchased this chain saw cause the add says 26cc but when I received it . It was a 25 cc so that upset me from the start. Tried contacting Walmart about this problem and was ignored. The saw ran great lightweight easy to handle. Just that 1cc difference makes a lot when your up in the top of a tree working believe it or not.
I dislike that im having issues with the engine staying running for more than five maybe ten minutes at a time. I think it has great potential and cuts beautifully when it runs . only ran it 3 times but each time it wont make it through a tank of gas before it has running issues. Hopefully its something stupid and easy.
