The Pso-back has helped me so much during my recovery process after a back surgery. Initially recommended by my physical therapist, I purchased the entire line up of Pso-things. I find myself using the pso -back and the original pso-rite more than anything. Also, the Pso-Rite customer service is second to none. An American company who truly cares about their customers. I sent an email to their customer service address and Mac, the owner and inventor personally replied and was beyond helpful. He didn't just answer my question but asked what my injury was and gave me additional methods of using the pso-devices to assist in my recovery. I can't say enough good things about these products. The products themselves are super hard plastic material. You can use them on every body part and give yourself a deep tissue massage. If I go one day without doing a stretching / massage routine with the pso-back, I notice a significant decline in my movement.
