My son is 3 and weighs about 29 lbs. He's on the small side. This fit him perfectly. This is more of a learning to swim aid and not so much an actual floatie to keep them above water. You need to be nearby at ALL TIMES when using this device. He was afraid at first because he thought it wouldn't keep him up. It does keep his head above the water and once he figured that out he was ready to swim!!
We got this for our 2 year old and it works great but be sure to still supervise your children when they wear this. Looks exactly as advertised. Kids that can't swim yet can tend to go face forward into the water so just be aware. We do have a very tall 2 year old and while is fit him on his 2nd birthday, I will have to get him a bigger size pretty soon
I originally bought 3, 1 didn’t fit my chunky 2 year old and 1 was too little for my 5 year old but 1 fit perfectly on my 3 year old and worked perfectly for her! So I would recommend if your kiddos are chunky to look for a different option and if they are tall/older to look else where but it works perfectly for a short/average sized 3 year old
This works really well for my daughter. She is a small 3-year-old and other vests have been too large on her. This one fits snugly and she says it's comfortable for her. It's also super-cute.
i got this for my 2 year old so she could play more independently with her big sister in our pool and assist with teaching her how to swim. it fits well, the strap that goes between her legs is adjustable so it doesnt seem to bother her or dig into her once adjusted. she is very sensitive with anything shes wearing being uncomfortable so given her willingness to put it on without a fuss before gettung in the pool id say its safe to say the fit is good and the quality of the meterial is decent enough as it doesnt cause any sensory issues either. its definitely not something id use in place of a proper life jacket, but for our needs its perfect.
This is a must-buy. I did a Walmart delivery while on vacation so my little one could play in the pool. This was the perfect color and a great price. Zipper and adjustable straps work perfectly. The buckles buckled without any issues. I actually ended up buying more. When I got home, they were on clearance at my Walmart, so I bought a few for the kids to use when they come over to play in our pool.
Purchased for my 2 year old to assist him in the water with me next to him, but not holding him. I still have to hold him as this pushes his body forward and his face will end up in the water if an adult isn't holding him. I was looking for something that would allow him to move freely in the water and play alongside me and this device hasn't worked for us. Might be better for an older child.
This is the only lifejacket that's advertised for children under two based on the weight and the material makes the kid float to their front. Meaning their face would be down the water versus onto their back the Floaties with the arms make way more sense for little to keep their head above the water.
I let go of my 30 lb toddler in the water with this on it it immediately made her go face first in the water. Not safe at all!!!
PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FOR ANY CHILD!!! My toddler is 35 lbs and DID NOT help him float AT ALL!! He would SINK and DROWN if we didn't hold him up the whole time! NOT SAFE!!
