Pulsar 22" Walk-Behind Gas String Trimmer with 173cc 4-Stroke Engine & Adjustable Height

I bought this to cut down on the use of my weed wacker and it has done that. There are a couple of things that it does that were a pleasant surprise. I am able to cut weeds below the ground level and it doesn't for the most part shorten the string. I can also cut next to a thin wire fence without the string shortening but not against heavier metal. The machine is very tippy but works very well on level surfaces. I'm very pleased with this purchase. I prayed about it before buying. Read the instructions before using!

I live in a wooded area so a lawnmower is out of the question. Got this to replace our old Southland trimmer we had for 10 years. So far so good. Was easy to assemble and pull start. Cuts through thick brush, poison ivy vines and thick weeds.

This is a preliminary review. I've only had it a week, only used it a few hours, so I cannot comment on long-term durability. Having said that, so far I love this machine. It is a beast! It cuts through tall and thick brush and grass with ease. I'm shocked at how fuel-efficient it is. It's also surprisingly quiet. The strings are easier to change than on a regular string trimmer. I am finally able to cut down a large area of brush that I've been avoiding for a couple of years. Now that this machine has done such a great job on it, I will be able to maintain the area with my riding mower, which would not have been able to cut through this area without getting damaged. Well worth the money I spent on it. My suggestion: always carry needle-nosed pliers with you when you use this machine. They'll make it easier to change the strings and remove tall grass that gets wound around the spindle. Awesome product, I'm extremely happy with it.

it works extremely well. Better than my push mower.

Lighter and quieter than the 170cc lawnmower I have. This Trimmer won't bog down on thick weed clusters like the lawnmower did when it got full of grass clippings around the chute with weeds ranging from several inches to over three feet high.

My husband lives it he has back problems this makes it easier for him

Works great, specially next to fence line and anywhere else that a mower or shredder can't reach
