Adequate for my purpose, but not 500 gph
The pump works fine for my live well, so long as I have a little patience. However, if you expect 500 gph, you will be disappointed. It took 5 min to fill my 5 gallon live well. That equates to 60 gph. The plumbing of my system allows close to unrestricted flow, except for pipe friction and a 2 ft head. As I said, it is OK if you have patience, but I am pretty sure the fish that are waiting would not agree. They are in my freezer now anyway, so you wont get a rating from them.
