Super duper cute! I have been having so much fun with my Punirunes! I have to be honest. The size of the Punirunes is great to me. I thought it would be a little bigger, but it's totally fine. Some people made it seem like it was obnoxiously bigger. The little squishy joystick that you use to interact with your Punirunes is very good quality. I do not recommend trying to clean it with anything. Do not clean it with anything wet because you will ruin it. Yes the squishy part collects dust but it is not all bad. The dust will not ruin anything. If your Punirunes malfunctions or freezes in any way, hold the middle button (B) to put the Punirunes in sleep mode and hold it again to turn it back on. Your Punirune will evolve each day until it reaches its final stage, but you have to make sure your happy meter is up. Otherwise your Punirune might not change at all. Make sure those meters are full enough. I recommend this digital pet. Kids and even adults will have fun with this. I have been enjoying it. It is not boring to me. I will say though. I do not really recommend using the batteries it comes with. I put them in and not even 24 hours later they were dead already. So I recommend using a different set of batteries instead of the ones the toy comes with. Your Punirunes will not turn off but it does go into sleep mode. I like that it does not turn off because if you leave the batteries inside for too long, then they could corrode. About the instructions…they are long. But they are long because there are multiple language. Follow the numbers on the instructions and you should be fine. I like that the instructions come in multiple languages. I recommend reading the instructions. I didn't really have to because I knew what I was doing. I might even buy another one soon. There are 6 games to play, rooms to buy, and more. I recommend Punirunes! I already evolved my first Punirune to an adult so I do not have that picture. I wish I didn't let him go so early lol. I hope that company who is making Punirunes come out with different colors and versions!
We love this toy the color all the pets the being able to interact with it and touch it, however the squishy ball inside does already after a week have a crack in the top and the battery life could be better but I loved the price of it broke I would buy it again.
kids love it
I bought this for my daughter who is a teen but has special needs ,she loves playing with this virtual pet . She takes care of it daily which is somewhat surprising since she needs to be reminded to do certain tasks throughout the day. I know she asked me once after about ten days of constant play to change the batteries . She received this for Christmas and its a fraction of what other brands cost so I think if your unsure if your child will take care of a virtual pet this brand is a great one to start with .
i really like the customizing, and the sound, the setting, and the navagation is REALLY easy, i recommend it for 6 yrs and under.
My friend recommended this as a Tamagotchi alternative. I bought three on sale as gifts. I like how incorporated the squishy joystick is, you can use it to pet, feed, clean and play mini games. It's replayable as in you can raise endless Punirunes and they have varied appearances (they also can't die). The only cons for me are how dusty the squishy joystick can get and it's only for right hand users. It's a great product all around
It made my Granddaughter very happy
my teacher bought this for me, i really liked it, but, it could be perfect if the screen is bigger and it doesn't hurt that much eye, cause that's why my mom kept taking it away from me😭
This is such a good, low-cost option for those wanting to get into tamagotchi-like toys. For the price it is, it's packed with a decent amount of content and interactive game play. My only gripes are that some of the mini games aren't so fun, so, it gets a little repetitive from naturally preferring to only play a few of them. And the audio is very... aggressive, for those sensitive to loud, little objects. However!! Audio can be turned down or turned off, which, completely negates this issue! And the touch mechanic can feel a little weird or not respond correctly in mini games (this can be overcome by learning where to press overtime. It's a learning curve, not a quality issue as far as I've noted.) I had so much fun with it, and experimenting to get different little characters. The battery life is relatively good, and the kind of batteries it needs are inexpensive compared to competitors. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that it NOT portable friendly (a side effect of its lower price, battery life, touch mechanic, and so on.) Still worth it, especially for the cost it's going at, (which as of my time of buying was fifteen or so dollars.)
The punirune I received specifically would freeze at the start of the game. Buttons worked for entering names and dates but not for anything else after. Was unable to interact with the digital pet whatsoever even though it was visible on the screen. The squishy toggle made a sound effect, but the buttons only worked for entering initial information and then became unresponsive indefinitely. Resetting did not help. Waste of my time and money
