PUR 8-Cup Slim Water Filter Pitcher for Fridge, Sandstone, PPT600F

We got this filter so that we could have cold drinking water readily accessable. We have a PUR faucet filter and use that to fill this pitcher so our water is double filtered! The water tastes great and even when you can smell the chlorine in the faucet it doesn't make it through the filter. The slim design is great for our often crowded fridge.

love this slim size with full size filter. the balance makes this the Easiest pitcher to pick up and carry, safely. 15 second soak for filter prior to use made for clean, tasty, fresh water. I'm very happy. recommend. (filter reported to remove more contamination vs competitors. so far I gree water taste is cleaner with Pur). 🥰

This is wonderful! Medically I need to drink more water and hauling big boxes of water from stores to van and from van to home is very hard for me to handle , I can't do it. Not only that the cost is crazy! So this is so helpful. Thanks for this in both!

cost is good. quality seems good and works as intended. taste if filtered water, much better than the water itself, it imoroved the taste better now the design. . its too thin, the pitcher is easily unstable due to being too narrow, yet elongated. its a design flaw, but was intended for packing or shipping units. would i recommend. no, i would pay more for a wider pitcher, but it works

It's definitely skinny but, as a tradeoff, too tall for my fridge. Also, I don't like the spout design. If you pour too fast, the water spills out of the sides and makes a mess. On the bright side, the matte plastic material looks nicer than the hard shiny version they used in the past.

The slim design is nice even though I wasn't buying it to put in the fridge. My kitchen is cool enough in the winter that I keep it on the counter. At first, the balance of this picture seemed a little off when you pick it up, but you get used to it. My biggest complaint is the spout. You better have your cup up close and pour slow because if not that spout, pour the water straight out and over your cup. The spout design could've been sought out a little bit better. Other than that, it works like it should, and for the price I would recommend.

This pitcher requires you to remove the lid to refill it, very annoying compared to the old design with the touch to open lever with the lid staying on. This is softer plastic, not acrylic . While it does take up less space, you have to leave the upper chamber filled to have the 7 cups which makes it tippy and awkward. It is very handy to fill water bottles. I would not recommend preferring the prior design and I would not repurchase this one. Love my other Pur pitchers with the advanced lead filters!

I do not care for the murky opaque plastic. I want to CLEARLY SEE the water, it's color, any debri floating around in it. What and why are they camouflaging the water? The thick band handle makes it difficult to see the water line, making it easy to over fill and have unfiltered water sitting in the reservoir because it's already filled to capacity.

Top heavy. Won't stand up on a wire shelf in the refrigerator. Would work in a door shelf "if" the height of the pitcher was shorter. I also didn't realize there is NO filter light indicator on the top of the lid. Will be returning

This item is advertised as an 8 cup purifier where it is only a so called 6 cup purifier with 2 cups unpurified. I then tried to transfer the water into three 16 ounce bottles and it only filled 2 and left a little in the third and I took out my measuring cup to prove it. I will be taking this back my next trip.
