PURA D'OR MD Maximum Defense Anti-Thinning Shampoo & Deep Moisturizing Conditioner Set (16 Fl Oz X 2)

I wanted to wait until I had a chance to use this shampoo a few times to review. I have a different perspective now. The way it makes your hair feel afterwards is fantastic. Very clean, very smooth and yes i think i have noticed a tiny bit less hair loss when i brush my hair.

I've been struggling with postpartum hair thinning and loss since having my baby girl. I had previously used Pura D'Or and was happy with the results, but wanted to try something different. The biggest thing that I like is how good my hair feels after washing. The shampoo lathers nicely and leaves my hair feeling good. The conditioner doesn't clump and has helped with cutting down on the number of knots I was getting. My hair feels thicker after washing and conditioning, and I feel like I am also losing less hair. I'll be glad once I don't feel like my hair is thinning or falling out, but until then you can be sure that this is the shampoo and conditioner that I'll be using.

It goes on very nice and smooth, lots of suds to give you a clean feel. The conditioner is amazing, gets out every knot and kink. I love this brand but this set in particular because my hair doesn't get greasy in 24 hours. It stays shiny and healthy, clean looking for a couple of days!

I have a lot of hair and it appears very thick, but in reality I have thin hair strands and with age more and more strands seem to be breaking away. Because of my thin hair strands, I don't dye my hair, don't like using too many products with a lot of heat, and I like to purchase naturally made products- especially when a product will have direct contact with my skin (in this case my scalp). I am so excited I found PURA D'OR and love that they list all their ingredients. Each natural ingredient helps provide my hair and scalp additional vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants... it honestly feels like my hair is a natural food store (lol). I also love that they don't have any parabens and sulfates, so my hair doesn't feel weighted down and my scalp doesn't get itchy from those terrible chemicals. Another great bonus, it's gluten-free, so you are only getting natural ingredients that will help with thickening your hair strands (like the Biotin) and will help provide a healthier scalp. After using this product for the last 2 weeks, I can say my hair feels smooth, stronger, and my scalp doesn't itch and has a healthy color.

I love the shampoo and conditioner a lot! I don't mind the scent- it's definitely not made to give your hair a pretty smell, it's made to help your hair be healthy! The smell of the product is not to strong. I'm a fan of all the ingredients Pura D'or has included in there shampoo and conditioner set. I don't know if I'll ever use another brand- at least not for a really long time. I highly recommend for ladies with thin hair and dry scalps.

Wanted to try this shampoo as it is organic. With age, my hair are getting thinner and frizzy. I like that it prevents hair thinning and makes my hair feel so soft. They have become more manageable after wash. Another difference I noticed was less hair fall during the wash. I like that this shampoo is sulfate free and comes as a set.

Great product, helped reduce thinning of hair. This product made my hair super soft and healthy, and I havent had any issues with dry scalp. The product came packaged very well and secure with no leaks. The smell of the product is nice and not overly strong. So far I am impressed with both the shampoo and conditioner. Definitely i recommend this product.

My hair has been pretty thin for years. I've been using this shampoo and conditioner for about 3 weeks and I'm seeing noticeably less hair at the bottom of the shower, and fewer hairs breaking/falling out when I brush. Don't think I'll be going back to my old brands!

I just started using this shampoo and conditioner so I can't attest to it's effectiveness for growth or reduced shedding. I'm not thrilled with the scent. The shampoo has a more medicinal scent than I expected. It does clean the hair well and conditioner is great for softness and detangling. I'm anxious to see how well it works for growth and filling in areas where hair loss has started.

My friend recommended me this line of products due to my hair loss and I am giving them a try since I have seen the results on her hair, I know everybody is different but I have used them 3 times already and I can see the volume of my hair is not the same. I feel my hair gets heavy when I am washing it. I will update this review once I finish these bottles.
