Exactly what we expected. Good reviews lead to this purchase. Creates warmth in a large 600 sq ft room. Nothing fancy %26 looks real. Crackle sound is less than realistic, but we don't care.

I never write reveiws but so impressed with this unit I felt it was necessary in this case. Our old gas fireplace, that we seldom used, broke down. Repair parts were either not available or very expensive. Local fireplace technician recommended electric. Went to their shop...very expensive units. Looked online, saw reviews on the Puraflame and decided to take a chance. Package arrived quickly and was very well packed. Had to do some modifications to the sheet metal of the old fireplace but the unit fit like a glove. Appears to be a solid and very well constructed unit. Works as advertised, nice fire effect and love the crackling sound.

Delivered quick. Easy to unpack. Plug and Play. It fit perfect into an existing fireplace. The original insert broke. It looks great, feels and sounds real. This is for my apartment in Santa Monica. I have Cabin in Big Bear and thinking about putting one of these there too. No more wood to buy or fireplace to clean. Highly recommend!

great for the cold season. This just makes the house feel more comfty and welcoming to my visitors. I like having this on when it's a movie night. Best part is that i can control this and the temperature all with a remote.
