Purdy XL Glide Paint Brush, 2 in.

You can't go wrong purchasing Purdy products. That's the only brand I buy.

I have started renewing furniture from garage sales and other places. I had to find out the hard way that when you buy a paint brush it really pays to buy a good one. I purchased the Purdy brand because I trusted it. I display my end products at shows where other people are doing the same. I know people ask "What kind of brushes do you use and paint?" Of course I believe that when I put my name on the finished products they look great, no brush strokes and no loosing hair from the brush it self. Take care of your brushes and they take care of you. I look forward to investing in additional brushes and trying the rollers soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this 3” Purdy Medium Stiff Nylon/Polyester XL-Glide brush to stain an old bench that needed care. The stain held in the brush and didn't drip! I wish I had a video to show how nicely the stain held in the brush until I got it to my wood! The stain brushed in smoothly with no brush marks. Also, no bristles were left behind. The brush cleaned up perfectly; no stray bristles. Love this brush; with care, it should last a long time. It pays to buy quality brushes and take care of them. It's really a great brush; no bristles fell out while using and the paint or stain stays in the brush.   It doesn't drip like cheap brushes.  Purdy does a quality brush.

I also did a great job where the walls meet the ceiling, I like to think the brush helped with my perfect stroke. Very soft for delicate spaces around trim and such, even though it is a big brush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] these brushes are nice and light and made of sturdy material. they are easy to use and the angled brush tip made it very easy to paint at an angle and get in the corners to "cut-in" the sides. easy wash and clean-up. and they come with a hole on the handles which makes it easy to hang and dry after easch use.

We will not buy cheap paint brushes that shed & are ready to be trashed after one use. We completed two staining projects with this & they look great. With proper care, this brush will last a long time.

This XL 2.5 in. brush is perfect for big and not so big , jobs. The angle is perfect for cutting in on walls or putting stain on a deck. Gives great results on whatever you're doing. I highly recommend these brushes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally use a bigger brush than this so it was a bit of a change for me. For the size of the brush it holds plenty of material to move along. The tenex bristles cut with laser precision, while the handle is very ergonomic. This won't replace my everyday trim brush, but will have a place in my box for certain applications.
