Pure Balance Pro+ Chicken & Brown Large Breed Puppy Recipe Dry Dog Food, 30 lb

i absolutely love the whole line... Ive used other high end brands and this brand has had the least digestive issues and most value for the quality ingredients that show in my dogs hair and skin as a whole with very little additions needed compared when I given other high profile brands a chance... currently I have all 3 of my dogs on the large breed puppy line with their upped needs for the snowy winter fun they all love... this is my preference for what works for my pack. i have (1) 10 year old Daschund and (2) 2 year old female labs... i highly recommend giving this line a chance... the quality and options are great and walmart delivery or shipping is an added plus.

I've been RECCOMMENDING PURE BALANCE FOR DECADES!!! I stared giving their chicken %26 brown rice to my lab/staffordshire mix when she was struggling with RED DYE in her food. No more throwing up, diarrhea, bald spots or hot spots. Its the only brand we feed our dogs, and have been since 2005. I believe our dogs live as long as they do because i feed them this food raw fruits/veggies. My special needs dog lived to be 18yrs, her dad 19yrs and her twin is napping by the heater. I put the puppy food for large breeds it in her soft food and shes acting more energetic, getting around more and more engaged. It's wonderful food, READ THE INGREDIENTS FOR YOURSELVES, then try 1 bag, you'll see that: they eat less and less often, their waste turns white and crumbles, less waste. 😉 great products

I did a lot of research when I was purchasing puppy food due to buying a puppy that had been neglected due to her front to pause getting bound by the umbilical cord during the last two weeks in utero. she has severe scarring around both paws and had it been any longer she probably would have lost most of her toes. it took a while for the fur to grow on the lower end of her front paws and one toe is half it's regular size. when I went to look at her to purchase the pup she was 10 weeks old and half the size of a regular 10 week old German Shepherd puppy. she only weighed 8 lbs and ate her own feces when I first brought her home probably due to getting pushed away from her hungry siblings and the owners not stepping up. I googled the most healthy puppy food for a large breed dog and this brand popped up, but the large breed formula however Walmart was out of that so I bought this one, standard puppy food. there's nothing standard about this food though! the first ingredient is real chicken, no by-product, and rice which is a good solid grain that helps digestion. all of the ingredients in this brand of puppy food where exactly what AI Google recommended at half the price of the wild brand and other approved brands such as pedigree. I've had her for one month and she has doubled her size and weight weighing 16 lb now, but not being overweight with a big belly. it's all growth and accurate weight for size and age. I've since purchased this same brand just for large dog breeds puppy food. the price point is excellent! you can't get a better puppy food in my opinion. I'll upload pictures of my pup from one month ago when I purchased her and from today. when I purchased her her paws, not only guard and a bit deformed although she has no disability, we're very small and I wondered if she would end up being a small German Shepherd, but I knew that her growth spurt was just beginning and, with solid ingredients a growing puppy needs, she may well end up growing like a weed LOL that she is doing! her paws are very large now and she is the size she should be at 14 weeks old. I can't recommend this puppy food enough. I am going to continue to feed her the large breed formulation until she's about 10 months old then I will transfer her over to a large dog dog food from this same company. I haven't ever seen a dog grow so quickly in such a short period of time! now, if you're puppies genetics don't allow for a large adult this food isn't going to magically make your pup grow bigger. however, my puppies parents were both large in size and she's only growing to her full potential because I'm eating her with a very healthy diet. I am so glad I found this brand!

this is the only brand I feed my dogs ☺️🐕. I wouldn't have thought it could make such a difference in how they feel and act. But I was wrong, I am so excited to have found the one dog food brand that both dogs Love ❤️. Now I won't feed them any other brand.

To say this is a bargain brand, the quality is amazing. my bro had been feeding his st bernard/mastiff pup this from 6wks old. we were feeding ours, the bro n sis to his pup the brand the breeder suggested. at 12 wks there was such a difference in their coats and growth. i asked what hed been feeding him, switched, and at 16 wks our pups looks so much healthier! the difference is very is apparent. im a skeptic at times. have to sing this brand's praises! amazing and will be my go to from now on for sure

Once my puppy had her adult teeth we switched to this puppy food, from the pedigree large breed puppy, same flavor profile. After a couple days, she easily transitioned to only this kibble. God send is more like it! Immediately we noticed a difference in her gas… before she would clear a room and now we hardly notice it unless someone sneaks her some table scraps! Cane Corso is her breed and she has done very well with this kibble. We do also feed her clean food 3 times a week and she has a daily snack of a fruit and vegetable…. but highly recommend!

I buy this and another large breed food and mix them. That way when one is out of stock their stomachs aren't thrown off while waiting for the one they're used to, to come in. My Great Dane and German Shepherd but do well with this. They are both very active dogs.

the only food that my pup has ate and hes gotten bigger than he should be at his age he actually gets full and stays full and doesnt gain excessive weight from it

I have 10 dogs, all Belgian Malinois, who have been fed Loyall Life large breed puppy food they're entire lives. That brand is all natural, has no fillers, etc. In a pinch, because Walmart does not carry this brand, my normal supplier, another store, was out and I purchased this brand. The dogs seem to like it, they don't eat it as fast as they did their other food; however, they both are the same price, actually you get more of the first brand that you do with this brand, but I do like this brand it seems to have kept them sustained with sustenance a little bit of chicken broth over the top and they eat it. These are extremely active dogs and require an extremely healthy diet. I would recommend this brand to anyone as it is all natural Gary.

The last bag of the Pure Balance large breed puppy food was different than it was previously. The kibble size was way too big , it was sized for adult dogs. My baby normally loves it but this bag of larger kibble he refused to eat. BTW I call him Piggy because of the way he normally eats, when he looked at me with sad eyes and didn't want it I was shocked. I've tried multiple times , the same result every time.
