Pure Balance Pro+ Puppy Chicken & Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food for Puppies, 8 lbs

When we got a new puppy for the first time in a long time, we needed to find a new puppy food that was affordable, but still good quality. I am not an expert, but the ingredients on the bag are satisfactory for me, our puppy loves this food, he is growing wonderfully and his poops are healthy! Also, he doesn't have any gas, which is amazing. We have another dog who eats another food and his gas is awful. Our puppy has no issues. The kibble is small too which I love. We also buy the matching wet food and add a little bit of that at dinner time. He loves it.

We have a 5 month old French Bulldog. I give him the Pro Balance mixed with fresh vegetables. He licks the bowl clean. He is a real challenge on many other things but it is a pleasure that he eats the Pro Balance without coaxing. He has a great looking coat, his weight is well controlled by following the dispensing directions on the bag. So...I guess he gives it a 5 paws up.

I did a lot of research on the proper puppy food for my 10 week old German Shepherd puppy because I bought her from someone who was not caring for her properly. she was half the size she should have been at that age weighing only 8 lbs at 10 weeks old. this is my second German Shepherd and my first was twice her size at 10 weeks old. I needed good quality ingredients! Google suggested this brand as a budget-friendly option for what I needed recommending real chicken or some kind of meat along with rice to ease digestion and Omega-3s, a brain and cognitive supplement, as well as that nutritious ingredients for healthy muscles, bones and joints. they happened to be out of the large breed formula, but I've just purchased the large breed formula, because all around puppy formula worked so well. I figured going with the large breed would just add to the benefits of this puppy food. I've had her for 1 month now, and she has doubled in size and weight. her stool is solid, and she is so happy and smart. this puppy food is absolutely what it describes to be and well worth the reasonable price tag. in fact I did AI research on this puppy food versus the FDA approved food for puppies by pedigree, wild, and one other brand and this topped those because the first ingredient is real chicken , it has grains for digestion (rice), and no corn or soy etc filler that each of those other brands all had one or more of.

I cannot afford the best food quality out there 100% of the time. My pup Zora is able to still get a decently healthy dog food without so many fillers in this brand and it's affordable. I also feed the Pure Balance wet food for evening feeding. I matched this ingredient for ingredient with the petsmart brand authority.

I believe my puppy may have an allergy to the chicken in this food. He was very itchy and even had a small breakout too. That being said it might be perfectly fine for someone else's puppy. I've since weaned him off of it and onto a lamb and rice from Purina pro puppy food he loves it and the constant scratching has stopped

My puppy love this food. We changed from one brand to this one. He is eating much better and not leaving anything behind. I don't have to feed him as much as I did on the last dog food, which makes the cost about the same, just a better quality of dogs.

I breed French bulldogs. I have been on a hunt for a more affordable option for my puppies without sacrificing quality. This puppy food is amazing!! My 6 week old babies are already completely on hard food. The kibble is very small so if they don't chew and swallow a piece whole they won't choke. The Ingredients are top tier. Stool is firm. We started with the can version and i will say at 4-5 weeks the puppies LOVED IT, it helped ween mama away however their stool was a very dark color and not firm at all unfortunately. But this hard kibble competes with royal canin and purina pro plan as far as ingredients go, for half the price. I can get 17lbs for under $30!!

It's not the product it's a delivery driver. They delivered this package with another package in the street. Walmart needs to get better with their people that they hire to deliver stuff. I was gonna give him a tip. I took the tip away. They don't deserve a tip because they left my items in the street.

This product was very dusty and dry. I bought multiple bags and the product was always the same. Also, my puppy had a hard time digesting this particular brand of food.

I have tried this specific brand and type a few separate times and tried my puppy on it and every time it has made my dog so ill, constant diarrhea all over my house. I will never buy this brand or this type again and of course I just bought a full bag and have to throw it all out and lose out all my money again!
