Especially lately, it seems like a lot of us are stuck at home and can't make it to our favorite local spa to give our faces that much needed attention. Am I right? I know it's something that's been a struggle for me. But thanks to the Nano Steamer, now I can get that spa facial experience without leaving the house. Steaming has so many benefits for my skin. It opens up my pores, increases circulation, and brings that glow back. This Nano Steamer is a powerhouse. On the facial setting and using room temperature water, it starts putting out a little bit of steam in about 20 seconds. But after about 60 seconds, the steam really starts pumping out. I do have two suggestions when using the product. The first would be to make sure that you don't put your face too close to the opening. This little thing gets hot really quickly. Seems like a obvious suggestion but worth mentioning. The recommended distance is about 9 inches, but you'll find the right distance after you use it.  The second suggestion would be to always use distilled water. You don't want those extra minerals clogging up your machine over time. And you DEFINITELY don't want impurities being absorbed into your skin so NEVER use tap water. The manual says that the steam lasts around 17 minutes with a full tank, but it really steams closer to 30 minutes straight on the facial setting. The unit itself is pretty compact and doesn't take up very much space which is nice if you want to leave it out in your bathroom for easy use.  Even though the unit can serve as a humidifier for a small room, I wouldn't say that it is it's best feature. I haven't used the warm towel setting yet but am really excited about it. Overall I would highly recommend this!  Treat yourself and get one of these!

It works well but has moments/pauses where I guess it needs a few seconds to keep the steam coming.

i found a cheaper one on amazon that vaporizes longer. This one starts spitting water after 15 minutes. not violently but the vapor is lesser after a point soon after sputtering. could use a hadle also. too sleek of a design in my opinion.

it gets too hot to use for face but it might be ok as a face cloth warmer. Definitely not worth the price

This review is a team effort. My wife , who has had numerous facials , was my partner on this review. I was also curious because the older I get, the more I get those ingrown hairs etc. and was looking forward to this steamer to remedy that. Well first the pros: Nice looking , great tool set , easy to fill. Cons: I really hate to be the bearer of bad news but that is what this is for: Honest opinions. My wife was the first to use it. She told me that the steam was minimal , almost unnoticeable. She said that the steamers that she has seen and had done to her were pumping out steam. At first she thought she was doing something wrong. But she wasn't. So then it was my turn. First thing I noticed when I was filling the plastic reservoir was how cheap and thin the plastic was. The seams looked dubious too. I found myself wondering how long before they would start leaking. Next I plugged it in and waited approx a minute for the steam to pump out. And waited , and waited. I double checked the setting and it was correct. Well it came out but the light had to be just right to make sure anything was even coming out at all. I looked at the manual and it has a picture of a woman and a ton of steam. This is not the case. Like I said I really had to look to see if any was coming out. So then I did the test. I stuck my face the 25 cm ( 9 -10 inches) away from the unit and second thing I noticed was the smell. It smelled terrible. Not sure how to explain it. Kind of a cross between burning something and smelly something. Then the third thing. The minimal steam that did come out was not consistent. First it would come out warm , then cycle cold or not at all, then warm again. It was distracting. Like waiting for someone to slap your face. You know its coming but not really going to enjoy it. As for the other settings ? Didn't even try after that......So can I recommend it ? No . Sorry Pros: Professional looking , good tool set Cons: Inconsistent steam, Minimal ( hardly any steam), Steam smells, Plastic reservoir is thin and seams seem poorly made.

I was excited about this product, but just tried it. I followed all the instructions and it still isn't working as well as it has been described. Even with the room temp water it takes over 20 minutes to mess with this thing just to get steam out. You have you hold the water tank in place while you use it. The steam is not consistent. It comes out in spurts and only gets “hot” a few times during the 20 minute cycle. This thing has a mind of its own. You're better off doing the home steam facial with heating your own water, putting in a facial bowl and covering your face over the steam with a towel over your head. Also this unit does not let you add essential oils (which are good for your skin) This item took over an hour and a half to perform a20 minute job. If you don't believe me, please order it and try it yourself. I would not recommend! I thought this would be quicker, but it's definitely not. This is such a waste of money. Does not cleanse your pores even near as good as the method I just mentioned. I'm sticking to my original method and returning this product. SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY AND HOPE. Seriously, get a kettle that heats your water up in less than 2 minutes. And continue on with your routine. I'm very disappointed with this product.

I was ready to use this facial steamer when I realized that it would probably be easier for my 20 year old granddaughter to use.The first thing that I noticed was the warning label that was attached and made it a complete turn off.The warning label states that I should use distilled water only.The use of mineral or tap water will cause scale deposits which will permanently damage this machine and cause it to malfunction.It also says the use of mineral or tap water with this machine will void your warranty.There are a lot of steps to take to using this machine which I do not feel would benefit me in anyway.I do not want to buy bottles of distilled water every time I want a facial spa plus having to get the towel to a certain temperature to be able to use it.

It's an attractive looking steamer but suddenly stopped working! It doesn't work on the facial steamer setting or the humidifier setting. It did heat one facecloth successfully and I used tongs to remove it because the facecloth did get hot. But it machine did not heat up in 20 seconds as the pamphlet described. Perhaps I got a bad one? But it's only been used a few times and appears to have stopped working. There is also a plastic odor that comes from the nozzle.... unsure why.
