Perfect!
When we had to get a new patio umbrella due to mold, we noticed the new pole was black. Now we need a new base! This one is black, painted, heavy, and perfect.

was so happy about this stand. in the picture it looks kinda small. but it is really a nice size, its sturdy and the price is awesome.

Base, Yes. Stand, No.
The weight is stable enough. Does what it is suppose to do. However, the umbrella doesn't isn't stable in the base. It seems like there should be another piece to keep the pole from swaying back and forth. I have to look at the dates and see if I can return it.

it is not a very sturdy base, when you put the umbrella in it does not hold it up very good. it's definitely not for any umbrella of size, needs maybe a very small one.

poorly made. not heavy enough.
looks pretty. weak constitution. the slightest breeze and it falls over. I have to put a cinderblock on it. Now the plastic is leaning and threatening to crack in the center.

Wobbly disappointment
The part that screws in to tighten the hold on the umbrella pole doesn't even come close to the pole! So, you can't tighten it. My time is spent picking it up as it won't stay that way. Horrible.

This is plastic and when I tilted the umbrella it fell. It couldn't even hold the umbrella up with no wind.
