Puremedy Just Calendula Herbal Salve

This salve is amazing for dry crack heels, elbows and dry winter skin in general. The smell is amazing, goes on smooth and non greasy and dries quickly all while leaving your overly dry skin so soft. I loved the fact it is all natural and has such a pleasant scent.

Every winter, I end up with dry skin around the base of my fingernails which always turn into painful cracks in my cuticles. I would normally just use the usual first aid products after the fact. I had one cuticle that would just not heal so I've veen using this product. Not only because of it's natural healing properties but also because it helps with dry skin, which is exactly what causes these painful cracks. It's been 3 days and my pinky is healing nicely. I have also been rubbing a small amount on my other dry cuticles after my shower to hopefully prevent future damage. A little goes a long way due to the organic oils it contains. I was glad to find a product that eases dry skin and at the same time, promotes healing. I would recommend this to friends and family.

I have been using this for a few days on a patch of itchy bumps, and the place is nearly cleared up with no itching. I had used cortisone cream and other remedies that didn't have an effect so am very impressed with the quick results and the relief. The salve is also working well on small scrapes and bumps that my little ones have gotten with great healing results. It is moisturizing and stays on all day and smells herbal rather than medicinal. I plan to keep this on hand at all times because it works!

This time of year, my hands get really dry, itchy, and they crack. It's extremely bothersome in between my fingers. I got this for my 12 yr old son who has dry skin around his eyes. I like that the ingredients are natural so I don't worry if it accidentally gets in his eye. He uses it 2 times a day and said it was really improved the dryness within a week. I've also used in on my lips and it moistened them up nicely.

This little jar of an all natural, vegan ointment that contains no petroleum makes a perfect moisturizer for my very dry skin on my face. In spite of using a lot of moisturizers and lotions I have never felt much difference. My dry skin always wins the battle. There is no petroleum jelly in it so it doesn't feel heavy and suffocating. It stays put too. Doesn't dry up leaving my skin feeling drier than before. There is no fragrance either. I like that. Moisturizing is just one of the uses. It can also be used for minor cuts, abrasions, burns etc. I have tried this only a few days but I really like the results so far. Time will tell.

I have been using the Puremedy calendula herbal salve for a few weeks now and it has helped me so much in my leg pain and reducing the bruising period on my wounds. It's very easy to use and you can feel it working quite fast. Definitely recommend it!

Overall I like this salve. I particularly like that it is free of chemicals, parabens, and phthalates. It has absolutely no scent. It comes in a small glass pot so it would not be economical to use as a body lotion for dry skin. My daughter has eczema and has been using it and I also have been using it on my neck. It is greasy which is why I gave it 4 stars. It does moisture well and would be a great barrier for cuts. It definitely would be good to have around the house for times you get a cut or need it for extra dry skin.
