You must carefully select the filter with the exact recommended product code number required. This one is the correct filter for my refrigerator. Easy to install and works fine. It's the OEM replacement.

Not worth the price
Echoing similar reviews, the filter does not last, the fridge glitches with a “replace filter alert” after two weeks of minor usage. It's a money grab designed to get you to keep buying these expensive filters in order to keep using the fridge water dispenser.

Criminal use of chip technology
The fact that these have a chip in them to prevent you from using any sort of bypass device is criminal. I have a whole house water filter and just want to bypass, I'm telling all my friends and family to avoid these types of fridges at all costs.

This water reads the same PPM as my tap. Virtually useless with a new fridge.
