Small size, affordable. I now keep one of these in every day pack/ hip pack. Our family loves exploring the outdoors and national parks, but likes to keep even our littlest explorer prepared in case they ever get separated from the family. Even the youngest of children understands how to use this like a straw. Great for emergencies- or preparing so outings do not become emergencies.

My family regularly goes on long hikes, little kids up to 8 miles, older members up to 55 mile backpacking trips. We make sure that even when leaving backpacks behind (or using the bathroom), they have smaller daypacks or fanny packs. Although the packs include some water, I always worry about someone getting lost or simply running out of water on a long hike. This adds just a little extra layer of preparedness. The straws are compact and fit easily in the outside pocket. They include a cap to keep the end clean and are very simple to use. These are a bit more affordable than other brands- and while premium brands are reliable, if something costs too much for everyone to keep on them at all times (because we know kids lose things), they don't do you any good. These are now in most of the daypacks with plans to buy more. My expensive name brand are usually lost in some camping gear box because my spouse didn't want the kids to leave them some random place and are pulled out just for backpacking.

Great set. One of those things you hope you don't have to use but if you do it's there. Pack of 3 was nice so I can stash in multiple locations. Perfect for emergencies and traveling.

Compact water filters. Great for putting in Go bags emergency supplies and vehicles. Small enough to carry in a purse or backpack. Will filter up to 264 gallons of dirty water! Super easy to use.

These pens are very easy to use. They have a flow rate of 400ml/min. It says they are good for 264 gallons of water. The directions say to drink from the river,stream,rain,well or tap. Not sure how well these work though at filtering the water so it is drinkable. Will put one in my backpack and tackle box just in case and hope I will never need it. They come in a three pack. It says has a filter accuracy of 0.01. So it may save your life in a emergency

these are good to add to the camping supplies, small so they're easy to add to your back pack or supplies box.great for emergencies also .haventnused this brand before, but looks great
