Bought this in October to clean a trailer blind that had stains and mold at centre of pleated drape from condensation. I soaked it, gentle scrub and rinsed well. It came out like new! Very very pleased
I noticed that with this detergent, when i hand washed my white blouse, i can removed ll the dirt on the collar and the make up stains. The blouse came out very white and fresh when lined dry !
Purex is an affordable alternative to larger brands that still packs a punch for cleaning while being cost effective. Pre treated tough stains allows this product to quickly clean clothes while have a fresh fragrant scent over 2 weeks after washing. Large container allows for less trips to the store and easily packs away on my laundry storage shelf! I normally use two cap fulls for a large load of laundry comes in awesome scents my fav has been mountain breeze.
I've been using Purex Coldwater and honestly? It's one of those laundry finds that feels like a little win every wash day. Environmental: Washing in cold water is already an eco-friendly move—and Purex Coldwater is formulated for it, which means I'm not compromising on cleaning power just to save energy. I feel good knowing I'm using less hot water without sacrificing results. Concentration: It's pleasantly balanced—not too concentrated, not too weak. Just enough cleaning power to tackle everyday messes while still rinsing out cleanly. I appreciate that it's optimized for cold cycles because sometimes cold detergents miss the mark—but this one doesn't. Dispensing: The bottle makes measuring super simple. The cap doubles as a cup with clear fill lines, so I never overuse (or underuse) detergent. It pours smoothly without glopping everywhere, which sounds minor until you've had detergent all over your counter. Scent: Fresh and clean, without being overwhelming. It's the kind of scent that makes your laundry smell nice but not like you walked into a perfume shop. It lingers just long enough to be pleasant, then fades so clothing isn't perfumy in a bad way. Value: Great bang for your buck. It's affordable compared to a lot of cold-water formulas I've tried—and it cleans just as well. You get enough product for many loads, and because you're using it in cold water (which I run a lot), the savings on energy are a bonus. Final Verdict: Purex Coldwater is practical, environmentally savvy, easy to use, and just plain effective. If you're washing mostly in cold (and who isn't these days?), this is a smart, budget-friendly pick that actually performs. 🧺💙
Have been using for many years. Cleans clothes as well if not better than the pricier brands. A light scent if you like that. Not overbearing nor strong. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This affordable detergent smells amazing and it stays in your laundry even after drying it. My clothes are clean and smell clean too. Stains come out with ease for the most part and it does not break the bank.
I've been using Purex detergent all my life. It has always seemed to work well, smell pleasant, and it is affordable. However I recently opened a new jug of the Mountain Breeze scent and notice it smells different, and not for the better. The old scent was fresh, clean, and not overpowering. This new scent has a stronger "chemical" smell, it almost reminds of another brand (Arm & 🔨), but worse. Please bring back the old scent. The new one literally stinks!
I've been using this detergent and the original mountain breeze scent for years and have had no complaints. The new fresh scent is way too strong! Don't know why you'd mess with a good thing. I need to change brands now, can't get past the overpowering scent. Dislike!!
The new "Fresh" Mountain Breeze scent is chemically and awful. Why don't brands stop bemreajung what isn't broken? P&G did the same thing to Dawn! I switched and won't go back. Same chemically fake new scents! What is going on!?! After many many years I'll be moving on Purex if these are our scent options. Same as I did from Dawn. I won't just 'get used to them'. I'll be out.
Makes my skin become really itchy and makes my clothes feel like wool
