Purina Animal Nutrition Wellsolve L/S 50lb Pellet

I bought this feed because of my 35 year old geldings nutritional needs. He is picky and absolutely Loves this feed. He is actually licking his pan. Has never happened before! I also feed him soaked beet pulp shreds and hay cubes. I will be starting him on rice bean oil soon. He is a hard keeper and I am a bit concerned with him losing weight on this feed alone. I would also feel better if he is also on a prebiotic/probiotic since he has had gut issues This is my first bag and only second full day on this feed so far great!

I switched all the horses that I board to Welsolve LS. The retired Grand Prix jumper started eating all of his food ( instead of picking at Triple Crown). He gained weight. The pony that was ridden 4 days a week stayed the same. The 16.2 warmblood ( also ridden 4 days a week ) gained weight and now only receives two cups total per day! I think grain can upset some horse's guts. I like feeding a nutritious feed that doesn't have grain in it!

I was so thankful to have a product to turn to that would give her the nutrition she needed and eliminate the starches and sugars. It took a few months, but we got the weight off. Needless to say, it was a long process but Well Solve saved my horses life. Purina is my go-to feed for all of my animals. Great products!!

My mule foundered earlier this year and was glad that I was able to locate some low starch feed locally. Was very expensive, and she wasn't fond of the taste, but finally grew accustomed to it. Definitely helped with her weight & overall health.
