I have an 8 yr old female amstaff and a 6 year male lab pit mix. Both are rescues. This is the only food they can eat that doesn't cause yeast issues or intestinal issues. I am grateful for it. The price is great considering it has more real ingredients than other comparable products. If they are healthy and happy so am I and so is their vet. Thank you for a good food at a reasonable price. My rescues are living their best life fueled with Beneful
I quit feeding my dog Beneful about a year ago because of the vet recommending their dry food but my dog never did like it so I switched back to Beneful and am so glad I did. He can hardly wait to eat and jumps around all excited when it's time to eat. Thank you Beneful and I am so glad to be back and so is Snoopy
We stocked up on a bunch of bags of this food not too long ago after realizing that our dog absolutely LOVED it and seemed much happier and more energetic! She's generally picky when it comes to dog food, so when she ate her entire bowl right after I scooped the food into it, I knew that this brand was going to be a keeper. We care a lot about what we eat and sometimes don't even care about our 4 legged companion. I know I always had the occasional struggle with my dog to eat. He didn't like the food , and now I can say I don't blame him . I decided to sample new food with my dog, and I saw a free sample for Beneful, and I was like sure why not? So I received a free sample of this dog food in the mail, and honestly I was shocked. At first i gave my dog 2 kibble pieces to taste it and as reluctant as he was he sniffed and tasted it , and for some reason now he is hooked. The kibble smells good, the size of the kibble is not difficult for my dog to chew and swallow, and unlike our old big bag store branded dog food, Purina's Beneful Beef originals smelled authentic, it didn't smell like the store brand I buy, it smells real, and all credit due it has to do a lot with it's natural ingredients. At the end of the day I was left with an empty bowl, and a begging pooch. I now know about the product and I'm happy to say I'll recommend it to all my dog owning friends. Needless to say bye-bye store brand, and hello Beneful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I tried many brand's for my Husky and she snubbed them, barely eating them, she looked good but felt boney when I'd pet her especially in her hips, I just thought it was the breed then I tried Beneful, she loved it, she started eating more and after a couple months she started filling out really good
I have been buying your products for Mollie & Sam for a loooong time, they love any of them that I give them, they are healthy and energetic rescue dogs........So imagine my delight when I see that your Beef originals advertised $5.00 savings inside.......but there was nothing in it...hmmmmm I did get 2 $1.00 in the chicken flavor, so I thought that perhaps the savings had missed my bag entirely and perhaps some lucky person had received $10.00 in savings. Not deterred I purchased the beef flavor again which also stated there would be a $5.00 savings inside, yippee! but no again......disappointment reigns in my purse oh dear, did I misunderstand the stated savings?
I have a female pit bull named Accalia and a pit bull/ husky X named Nuka. Nuka has always been a fantastic eater, but Accalia was awful about it. She would literally go 3 days without eating because she hated the food. I even took her to the vet to make sure she was fine and she was. Nothing wrong with her at all. The food we originally had her on was a natural and holistic food. We went through about 5 different holistic foods and she despised every single one of them. Not to mention that $70 for a 22 pound bag of dry food was not doable for a college student. So I decided to try Beneful. I really didn't want to because I was a huge believer in holistic foods. But seeing as how Accalia was not eating those foods, I was desperate and decided on a "cheaper" food. She ate the whole bowl and wanted more. Ever since we started feeding Beneful, she eats the whole bowl within an hour -she's a slow eater-. She has put her weight back on and actually looks forward to eating. Nuka loves the food too. And honestly, I saw absolutely no difference between my dogs health being on holistic food and this "cheap" food. Coat quality is the same, energy level is the same, stool and potty habits are the same. Just last week they went to the vet for vaccines and got a clean bill of health. If a "cheap" food works for your dog, don't be afraid to feed it. This is coming from someone who believed the "holistic" fad. I am so thankful I tried Beneful. It pained me watching Accalia basically starve herself. I will continue to use Beneful, especially since they have changed their recipe and have taken out the sugars and made beef/ chicken the first ingredient. Forever a Beneful customer.
I have two dogs....Colby is a 15 and a half year old shepard-collie mix and Henley is a 10 year old lab-newfoundland mix. They have both been eating Beneful Originals with Beef their entire lives. They are both past their life expectancy and they are healthy and happy. Thank you Beneful!
I have two dogs. One is a mastiff mix, the other is a golden retriever. Both are having horrible gas since starting this food and the golden has vomited and had diarrhea. I do not recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made the mistake of buying this dog food and won't do it again. It's mostly corn corn meal and wheat flour. Stuff that's hard on a dog's digestive tract and there's barely any meat ingredients which should be the first ingredients in a dog food. Not a healthy dog food at all just cheap ingredients you're being overchargedone for.
